Responsibilities as Drive Thru Opener: Prepare initial coffee brew for the entire restaurant, following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso, blended drinks, and lattes. Arrive at 6AM to prepare Drive Thru for opening at 6:30AM. Replenish coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment, maintaining supplies. Uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members. Utilize MerryChef equipment for hot Grub-On-The-Go items available in our Drive Thru. Keep equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting, and performing or calling for necessary maintenance. Bake pastry products when necessary. Greet all JavaVino guests by being attentive to them as soon as they arrive. Create a welcoming environment for guests, when appropriate refer to guests by their names. Say yes! Always try to find ways to accommodate a request. Assist Front of House staff during busy periods/high volume weekends. Find cleaning tasks and other necessary duties when able.
