Responsibilities:
Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs electrical equipment and systems. Utilizing technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
Performs general maintenance duties
Work on projects throughout the entire facility running conduit, pulling wire, and connecting devices, using lifts and ladders.
Perform equipment repairs and similar duties that require no oversight or direction.
Uses complex electrical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot and correct problems.
Displays positive attitudes and practices good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company.
Provides excellent customer service.
Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5+ years related work experience as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician required
Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment required
Efficient in sizing conductors, conduits and using NEC Code Book required
Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC required
Strong knowledge in troubleshooting of motor controls, drives, and electronic components required
Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics preferred
Ability to install electrical equipment and circuit modification preferred
Ability to work in high elevation up to 80 ft. high required
Ability to lift and carry at least 90 pounds required.
Perform job responsibilities with integrity under minimal to no supervision required.
Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy required.
Excellent organizational, time management skills required.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently required.

Basic Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Stamina and the physical ability to undertake the job. You might bicycle, bend, kneel, climb, push vehicles to re-position them for repair, work with arms/hands above shoulder level for an extended period of time, climb (sometimes as high as 200 ft.) and more, all on a regular basis
At least 18 years of age
You will be required to use 2-way radios, learn CMMS (MAXIMO work order system), attend/pass compliance and other training sessions to ensure accurate maintenance documentation
Electricians may work outdoors in all weather conditions, in an industrial workshop, in kitchens with wet/slippery surfaces, and may have occasional exposure to high temperatures, noise levels, and fumes
In addition to the physical tasks listed above, Electronic Technicians may need to push/pull and/or lift up to 10 lbs. constantly, up to 25 lbs. frequently, up to 75 lbs. occasionally and rarely up to/over 100 lbs.
Schedule Availability - Must be open to any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including weekends, holidays, with any combination of days off.
Additional Information :
Those assigned to the Electrician position are required to attend an annual Hearing Conservation training class and Lead Awareness class. They are also required to submit to an annual audiometric exam and a semi-annual Lead/Zinc blood test.

Primary Duties:
Electrical Department Reliability is generally improved through preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding plant electrical controls and distribution systems. The individual must:
Support and follow company safety procedures with focus on zero injuries.

Actively support the Stanislaus Food Products electrical preventative maintenance program.
Effectively and accurately troubleshoot and make routine adjustments and repairs to DC and AC systems including (but not limited to) contactors, relays, VFDs, starters, motors, rectifiers, brakes, pneumatic systems, sensors, controls systems, and PLC components to maintain production and maintenance schedules.
Monitor repairs and validate that the problem has been solved.
Own the problem until resolved with a focus on doing it right the first time.
Focus on quality of workmanship by doing the job right the first time and be accountable for results.
Assist in the planning process by identifying parts and work required using AMMS to enter notifications.
Prioritize work based on business needs.
Maintain a high level of urgency in response to tasks assigned.
Participate in the Breakdown Elimination process to reduce the frequency of breakdowns and improve equipment reliability.
Make decisions that are “best for the business” with regards to maintenance costs and overall productivity.

SUMMARY
The Mine Electrician is responsible for doing the electrical construction and maintenance of the mining operation and camp complex and ensuring compliance with health and safety and environmental regulations and policies. The incumbent is also responsible for performing repairs and doing preventative maintenance by following job procedures and using accepted industry practices, following maintenance directives from the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor or Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent, and planning jobs in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensuring all personal protective equipment is in place before starting any job as prescribed.
* Notifying the Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor of any unsafe conditions that need to be corrected before any job is started and refusing to perform any unsafe task.
* Liaising with the Joint Health and Safety committee on Health and Safety issues in the Electrical Department.
* Maintaining logbooks on any equipment that require repairs or services logged.
* Helping to maintain accurate and detailed eLogger shift report logs.
