Job Description Under the general direction of the Weld Shop Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing all welding required on the mine site to the highest possible standards while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross' values. Job Responsibilities 1. Service welding needs throughout the entire mine site, including the creation of machinery and repairing failures. 2. Run various wires and rods and understand the uses and applications of each type. 3. Read blueprints as part of welding preparation. 4. Write service records and reports, and file appropriately. 5. Welding test required 6. Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety, environmental, confidentiality, and code of conduct. 7.
