Qualifications:
* Three (3) years of experience with underground mobile maintenance in a mining environment preferred
* Willingness to learn and ability to repair all underground mobile maintenance mining equipment required
* Possess strong knowledge/skills in mobile maintenance repair of all underground equipment required
* Proven safe work record required
* Willing to work in a team-based maintenance organization required
* Strong dedication to safety and courageous leadership required
* The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.

Responsibilities:
The Process Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the performance of the following duties in a safe and productive manner.
Perform inspections, trouble shooting, and maintenance of Three-Stage Crushing Facility and Merrill-Crowe process equipment;
Perform daily workplace and equipment safety inspections;
Complete preventive maintenance inspections of fixed equipment and perform regularly scheduled PM services;
Repair, rebuild and maintain various equipment not limited to, pumps, conveyors, jaw and cone crushers;
Dismantle and reassemble fixed and crushing equipment with some supervision;
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges;
Weld together metal components as specified by layout, blueprint, work order or oral instruction;
Consulting manuals, reading and interpreting circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics;
Order parts, generate W/R, W/O, and other routine work to maintain an organized and efficient work environment;
Ability to recognize safety hazards, develop solutions, then follow up to make sure hazards are addressed;

Attend continuous improvement or newly implemented technology or infrastructure training classes as scheduled by Company.
Physical Requirements:
Follow all procedures and safety measures to assure safe production;

Required Qualifications & Skills:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required;

A minimum 2+ years fixed maintenance experience in the mining or heavy industry sector including conveyor, screens, and crushing experience (Nordberg, MP800, Raptor, etc.);
Working knowledge of the Merrill-Crowe processing system;
Demonstrated knowledge and certification for oxygen/acetylene cutting, plasma cutting, MIG welding, and electrode welding;
Experience trouble shooting and repairing Hydraulic systems;
Support and participation in the development of the RCM program;
Experience in the following areas preferred, but not limited to dissimilar metal welding (mild steel, manganese, stainless) pipe welding, and fabrication;
Working knowledge of vertical turbine and centrifugal pumps, open and closed circuit crushing including horizontal and incline screens, Metso MP or HP cone crushers, jaw crushers, gyratory crushers, and all aspects of conveying systems are favorable.

Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Process Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment, including milling, crushing, conveying, flotation, leaching, thickeners, gravity spirals, CICs, elution, refining, pumping, piping, and all supporting infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
1. Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair plant equipment including ADR systems, crushing circuits, milling circuits, and pumping/piping systems.
2. Operate support equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
3. Perform bearing analysis and installation.
4. Complete mechanical projects and fabrication work using basic cutting and welding techniques.
5. Lubricate equipment, manage oil inventory, and ensure proper disposal of waste oil.
6. Participate in preventative maintenance and capital/construction projects in coordination with operations and technical services.
7. Respond to emergency maintenance calls on a 24-hour basis as required.
8. Assist in the mentorship and training of other maintenance personnel and apprentices.
9. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all work performed.
10. Attend required classes and complete coursework and lab training as part of an apprenticeship (if enrolled).
11. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those related to safety, environmental, and confidentiality.
12. Exhibit regular attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience
1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in ADR and/or crusher systems preferred.
3. Minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial setting required.

Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Senior Trainer, the Maintenance Training Technician supports safety and maintenance training activities for the Mobile Maintenance department. Essential Functions
* Supports the coordination and delivery of maintenance task training for new hires and existing employees, including classroom and field-based instruction.

* Helps develop, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training outlines as directed by the Senior Trainer and maintenance leadership.

Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Maintenance General Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive work environment while continuously aligning daily functions with Kinross' values and company policies. The Maintenance Supervisor leads by example in Safety, Attendance, Attitude, and Performance, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This position follows a 5/4 rotation, alternating between days and nights, to support continuous maintenance coverage and operational reliability.
Essential Functions
* Develop maintenance assignments and assign crew members to specific tasks to meet daily mine maintenance goals within the Kinross Way for Maintenance.
* Supervise crew activities during shifts to ensure the safe and efficient completion of assignments.
* Coach and develop crew members through task-specific and specialized training to achieve maximum efficiency and safety.
* Collaborate with the Planning Department and other maintenance personnel to ensure all parts, tools, and equipment are available before work begins.
* Perform daily administrative duties including timecards, reports, supply requisitions, safety meetings, environmental inspections, vacation schedules, and work order management.
* Maintain accurate records of both reactive and proactive work, ensuring all maintenance activities are properly documented.
* Maintain a performance log for each reporting employee and ensure personnel evaluations are completed on time.
* Supervise a crew of 5 or more employees, including mechanics, welders, electricians, and laborers.
* Oversee crew training and complete required MSHA 5000-23 documentation for all applicable jobs.
* Conduct weekly Safety Talks, daily crew lineouts, and other assigned meetings.
* Ensure optimum use and maintenance of facilities, tools, and maintenance vehicles.
* Maintain regular communication with the Maintenance General Supervisor, providing updates on project status and crew performance.
* Act as a liaison with Operations to plan, monitor, and execute planned maintenance, capital, and construction projects.
* Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure continuity of operations.
* Promote and maintain the Critical Risk Management (CRM) program, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and without risk to self or others.
* Conduct accident and incident investigations and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including Safety, Environmental, Confidentiality, and Code of Conduct requirements.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements
* Must be able to operate JD Edwards.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); experience with databases and spreadsheets required.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Maintenance, preferably in a construction or mining environment.
* Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience preferred.
* Experience participating in shutdown planning preferred.
* Ability to maintain effective communication and continuity within and across departments.
* Direct supervision of crew members to execute the operational plan; must hold crew accountable for adhering to SOPs.
* Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of SOPs within the Maintenance Department; collaborate with the trainer to communicate procedural updates to crews.
* Willingness to attend required training to enhance supervisory effectiveness.
* Strong understanding of maintenance operations, as well as ore processing and mine operations.
* Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.

* Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Working Conditions
* This position is located at the Kinross Bald Mountain Mine, operating on a 5/4 rotating schedule of days and nights.
* Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor mine site environments, often in inclement weather conditions and at high altitudes.
* The incumbent must be able to safely perform work in areas of varying noise levels, dust, and exposure to mine operations.
* Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times as required by company policy.
* Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and bending are required, along with the ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
