The successful candidate will work as part of a team, under supervision, to develop, implement and monitor safety and health programs for near-mine or in-mine facilities in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Performs activities essential to ensuring employees can do their work safety to prevent injuries or health impairment. Advocates for safety and health compliance, providing training, compliance monitoring, auditing, and reporting. Performs more routine tasks or work on a minor phase, with oversite, of a larger project. Responsibilities: Direct assigned area activities including planning, scheduling, budgeting, projects, cost containment and profitability within a three-month window. Ensure timely delivery of results against plans. Ensure all operations are carried out safely, consistently, efficiently and in accordance with environmental and other regulations and NGM standards, policies, and procedures. Drive consistency across supervisors with responses to significant events, incident reporting, investigating and awareness across my supervisors and implementing preventative and corrective actions consistently across the teams. Ensure compliance with regulations and legal obligations. Engage team members in effective problem-solving including go look, see and listen. Identify opportunities for improvement, develop recommendations for changes to practices, techniques and standards to leadership. Ensure appropriate staffing is in place, supporting recruiting and hiring. Support investigations, makes corrective action and termination decisions and may assist shift supervisors with issuing discipline to team members. Complete handovers with my incoming and outgoing peers to support continuity of operations and safety. Drive consistency of standards across shift supervisors and teams. Implement systems to maximize efficiency and resources. Observe Safety Interactions done by my supervisors and give them feedback on how to improve. Give feedback to, coach, and mentor shift supervisors. Lead effective meetings for my team. Review the performance of my team members and provide feedback. Conduct Drug and Alcohol Testing. On-call responsibilities are required. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Summary The Process Superintendent is an operations leader responsible for setting direction, priorities, and performance expectations for the Round Mountain processing facilities. The role focuses on operational stability, risk management, and sustained metallurgical performance through cross-functional alignment. Through two General Supervisors, the superintendent ensures safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of mill, leach, and gold recovery circuits while meeting production, recovery, and cost commitments. Essential Functions 1. Provide clear operational direction and priorities for processing operations through two General Supervisors and their supervisory teams. 2. Maintain technical and operational oversight of crushing, milling, classification, gravity concentration, heap leach, CIC/CIL adsorption, elution, electrowinning, refinery, and solution management systems. 3. Ensure stable operation within design limits by monitoring performance trends including throughput, grind size, leach kinetics, reagent consumption, solution inventories, recovery profiles, and heap leach solution balances. 4. Focus leadership effort on systemic issues, operational risk, and sustained performance. 5. Ensure production plans and operating strategies are executable, understood, and appropriately resourced at the General Supervisor level. 6. Lead operational risk management, including critical control effectiveness, operating discipline, and deviation response. 7. Align with maintenance leadership on medium- and long-term strategies for critical assets, major maintenance events, and reliability risk. 8. Partner with metallurgy and technical services to prioritize improvement initiatives, implement changes in a controlled manner, and protect baseline metallurgical performance. 9.
