UIC Real Estate is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and repair projects in alignment with UIC's project management standards. **Responsibilities**
Essential functions will include:
+ Oversee maintenance-related projects in accordance with UIC's project management standards.
+ Determine and prepare schedules, work assignments, and tasks for maintenance technicians, considering work priority, personnel skills, equipment availability, and weather conditions.
+ Coordinate with Real Estate in preparing development plans, estimates, studies, surveys, and research needed to meet departmental and corporate objectives.
+ Coordinate the preparation and scheduling of preventative maintenance plans.
+ Work with Real Estate to develop, manage, and maintain annual capital improvement plans for UIC properties and facilities.
+ Verify and document client satisfaction with repairs and services.
+ Maintain positive public relations with tenants and ensure timely resolution of all maintenance concerns.
+ Perform mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repairs or upgrades, including assembly, installation, troubleshooting, or repair work.
+ Assist with daily Real Estate maintenance operations and support UIC maintenance crews as needed.
+ Review, prioritize, and assign work orders.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Thorough knowledge of UIC functions, including accounting principles and practices, as well as administrative and clerical procedures such as file and records management.
+ Ten years of experience in maintenance management and inventory control.
+ Ten years of progressively responsible experience in the North Slope region, with expertise in Arctic construction, facilities maintenance and operations, land use planning, or related activities.
+ Experience as a landlord or property manager, with knowledge of landlord/tenant laws preferred.
+ Familiarity with local, state, and federal structures and functions, particularly permitting and zoning procedures.
+ Knowledge of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).
Physical and Mental Demands:
+ Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
+ Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
+ Occasional climbing of ladders or stairs.

The Dean of Academic Affairs plays a critical role in supporting faculty and key staff while maintaining frequent engagement and overseeing day-to-day administrative oversight, i.e., timesheets, hiring, monthly reports, various meetings, and maintaining relationships.
Additionally, the Dean of Academic Affairs is responsible for fostering a positive and growth-focused team atmosphere that promotes the college and meets the students where they are on their academic and career journey.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the following divisions: Academic Affairs Central Office, Instructional Programming, which includes Academics, Career & Technical Education, Workforce Development, and Educational Technology. Divisions are direct reports under the Dean of Academic Affairs that require frequent communication, listening, responsive changes to meet needs and day-to-day oversight.
The Dean of Academic Affairs also serves as the Accreditation Liaison to Iḷisaġvik's accrediting agency and leads an internal steering committee dedicated to accreditation compliance and success.
Direct supervision, mentoring, and oversight of twelve full-time faculty members, the Director of Career and Workforce Development, and the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. Supports the Associate Dean as they oversee 25-30 adjuncts and the Director of Tuzzy Consortium Library. Supervision includes ensuring regular check-ins, contract communications, overload, and academic oversight and support.
Primary point of contact for faculty recruitment and onboarding, supports professional development, faculty evaluations, manages department budget and associated grants.
The Dean of Academic Affairs must work closely with the Dean of Students and faculty and staff to ensure students' success from enrollment on day one and their journey at the college. Additional Details:
Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures. Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience preferred
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Advanced licensure through the ARRT in CT or Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams

Responsibilities
Essential functions will include:
* Builds, repairs, and installs counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, building framework, and trim.
* Perform roof work, repair fencing.
* Install glass in windows, doors, and partitions.
* Replace damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and wall coverings.
* Build cabinets and other wooden equipment as requested.
* Knowledge of interior dry wall tasks and painting experience.
* Install items such as window shades, window blinds, curtain rods, wall fans, door and locking hardware.
* Perform mechanical/plumbing/electrical work/repair or upgrades which may require assemble installation, trouble-shoot or repair, as needed.
* Perform preventive maintenance of UIC properties as assigned.

* Experience as a landlord or property manager, with knowledge of landlord/tenant laws preferred.
* Familiarity with local, state, and federal structures and functions, particularly permitting and zoning procedures.
* Knowledge of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).
