The diversity representation is really good and give the team the opportunity to learn from each other.

The leadership is very supportive my growth and they allow me to go to after hours events.

Jonathan is a seasoned executive that really gets to know our customers and employees.
More in person events
I believe my compensation is on par with others in my field with some benefits being better and some worse but overall competitive.
We have more diversity at B&A than anywhere else I have ever worked.
Helping grow our business so we can see others succeed while also solving our customers most challenging problems.
Some pros of working at Bart & Associates are, Diversity and Inclusiveness.
I have not experienced any con of working at Bart & Associates for the years I have been here. I pray and know it's going to continue being a positive environment.
My favorite perk at Bart & Associates is the togetherness no matter the level of the hierarchy. We are One Team and relate together with respect to achieve the objectives of the company and give our clients maximum productivity.
The CEO and leadership at Bart & Associates treat all employees well and give us the much needed assistance to grow as individuals.
The current employee culture is one I appreciate and I know management will strive at making the needed changes as we continue to grow and expand so I have full confidence in their decisions.
I prepared for my interview at Bart and Associates by researching the company to make sure their objectives align with mine, reviewing the job description to understand the specific skills and qualifications needed to confirm I have those amongst other things.
My compensation is at par with the industry average for my skills and experience.
As mentioned earlier, one of my pros for the organization is Diversity.
Getting the chance to represt the organization and being appreciated by management.
They have many wellness and engagement events and other opportunities for employees.
I have the opportunity to participate in the Brand Ambassador program where I get to build leadership skills.
I don't really have any complaints.
Members of the leadership team are accessible.
Despite the challenges associated with remote employees spread across the country B&A puts a considerable amount of resources towards fostering a positive and engaging culture. Any input that I have is already collected and taken under consideration through my participation in the Brand Ambassador program.
I interviewed years ago, I don't really remember.
My compensation on par compared to industry average.
Diversity is well represented at Bart and Associates.
The aspect of my work at Bart & Associates that brings me the most joy is presenting innovative ideas and having the opportunity to implement them.
Working at B&A has given me the ability to have flexible work life balance when it is needed. Staff is friendly and always willing to help and collaborate.
Communication from higher level management isn't always received in a timely manner which leads to rushed deadlines.
The entire B&A Cares program is such a great way to employees are engaged with the company but also taking care of themselves.
They are goal oriented and have the best interest of the company when they make decisions.
I would bring back more of the silly national days to celebrate and gather as a group to do activities.
My compensation has been below average.
B&A has a very diverse workforce and that is something that is valued and taken into consideration when new employees are brought in.
The collaboration and willingness from other teams to help out brings me joy.
good company culture
Feel like I could be paid more for the energy that goes in and the quality of my work
Cares program, Nationals tickets
CEO and whole leadership team is very caring and willing to listen
i would improve the company culture by having more in person events/ activities for various teams to connect outside of work related items
reflected on what i was looking for in a company to see if B&A matched my needs before deciding if i was a fit for them
my compensation is on the lower end of average for my position in the industry
I think B&A is a very inclusive workplaces. Technical skillsets and ability to get a government clearance may impact who is able to apply but i would say our population is diverse.
The people, i enjoy and appreciate all the people i interact with and learn so much from everyone's varying perspectives. Have not met someone here who is not a caring and compassionate person or leader
Open door policy with management/Executive team. Feel that I am made aware of new initiatives. Work supports Federal Government infrastructure and operations.
Efficiency of work can suffer due to conflicting or constantly changing instructions for assignments. Aggressive growth mindset keeps employees consistently busy; can lose time for career growth/training initiatives
Seats behind home plate at MLB games
Involve lower level employees in certain decisions. Do not sugarcoat their opinions around new employees. Open to being challenged on their opinions.
N/A - the culture is good.
Researching the company and the individual conducting the interview. Studying the specific job description and understanding everything they are looking for out of that role. Coming with 3-5 questions prepared.
Similar.
Solid.
Sharing in the collective excitement when we win new work, or when we all agree that we have put our best foot forward on a project.
I thought the pros of working at B&A are the easy commute, the accessible management, and approachability of employees.
My favorite benefit is being able to work from home for part of the week as I can focus on certain work areas differently when working in the office with my coworkers, or at home when I can be more focused.
In my experience cons of working at Bart & Associates is the stress that sometimes accompanies weeks when a lot of work/deadlines come up.
Very accessible and responsive. They're also very open to helping employees learn and answer any questions when they have the time.
N/A
Studying B&A's homepage, mission statement, LinkedIn, and doing general research on Government Contracting so I would understand what the company did a bit better.
My compensation might be a bit lower than average.
Completing a difficult task or solving a problem others have had trouble with. Additionally, feeling like I've contributed to the company or helped my boss/coworkers is generally rewarding.
Employees and subcontractors seem to be diverse.
All the managers and executives honor an open-door policy making it easier for open communication lines and problem solving. You can count on the whole team to work together for important projects and deadlines.
The extensive health and retirement benefits are a huge upside on top of competitive pay.
The CEO and the leadership team give us the opportunity to challenge ourselves and contribute to company projects and proposals. They also maintain open communication lines with us which help to stay on track and continue to provide value.
Company culture has excelled through these past couple years, including Covid and coming back into the office on a hybrid setup.
Studied a lot of different interview questions related to the industry. Looked at my specific strengths and weaknesses and how I can provide the most value to the people I work with.
In my experience, the compensation at Bart & Associates compared to the industry average is right on par. The health and benefits package help to push that above as well.
I believe Bart & Associates does a great job at representing a diverse set of demographics within the company and clients.
Being able to work with a group of people who are driven and goal oriented.
The pros of working at Bart & Associates are that you are working for a company that true embodies the culture of open door. In my 15+ years of working I did not encounter a company that is open to listening to suggestions and creating a plan. Another pro of working with B&A is that they are invested in retention of the employees by providing them a culture of work life balance and growth programs like B&A cares program.
In my experience working with Bart & Assocaite like with any other company we face challenges just like any other company. The cons I can think of are things that the organization has little to no control over so I would be hesitant on blaming the organization for it.
The flexibility of the work environment and understanding of work life balance and the openness that leadership has.
Their open-door policy. The accessibility with leadership to ask, inquiry, suggest and discuss topics. The most insightful conversation has come from the CEO and COO because sometimes we do not have the full picture.
Due to the Pandemic the team bonding activities have been less, and I would like to see more team bonding events.
I read the website, went to the companies' LinkedIn profiles and the leadership's profile. I read up on the contracts and clients they had. I checked the reviews in Glassdoor, and I had questions ready for my interviewer.
in my experience, my compensation at Bart & Associates is above industry standards. The opportunity to growth is there and I was not turned away when suggesting my manager if we could discuss my compensation
I am very proud to say that Bart & Associates works very hard in the DE&I program as we set goals, and we make it part of the hiring process.
what brings me the most joy working with Bart & Associates is the coworkers I have in HQ.
Smaller company, so more curated care, communication, and accessibility to management. Opportunities for career growth.
Low pay for more junior to mid level companies, compensation adjustments are not given fairly or nearly as often as they should be. Bonuses are meager, not given direction or opportunities to adjust compensation for billable employees. Not significant vacation or sick leave given more employees, especially those that have been working for 5+ years
Health Benefits are good
CEO has long history at B&A and has personal relationship with many employees and government leadership on several projects. I gave no knowledge of the leadership of the company that bought us
The financial success of the company directly impacts opportunities for the company to bond and connect. Since we have been purchased, there have been more limitations on spending which should not effect opportunities for engagement with the employees. Lack of financial success is a responsibility that falls on leadership and business development, not employees on projects.
Spending a lot of time researching the company
Far lower than industry average. Very disappointing.
We have a diverse workforce with many women in leadership positions
Supporting our mission
Working remotely
Unable to be able to interact with co-workers or management
Perk is being able to adjust schedule/working time when necessary
I really don't know the CEO, leadership I engage with are professional
I don't have any input on this....
Only thing comes to mind is that Bart has us update our resume each year.
no idea
a good one
The feeling that i was able to help someone outthere in the world.
I appreciate the responsiveness of the home office in responding to our needs and caring about our emotional and professional welfare.
None that come to mind.
Work-life balance and the quality of my workmates.
They are constantly checking with us to see that we are doing well and always looking for ways to improve in that aspect.
Perhaps a monthly/quarterly version of the annual report to keep us up to date about the company and other employees.
By reviewing what I skills and qualities I could offer the company.
I’m not sure, but I believe it commensurate.
It feels like it’s an organic expression of the company’s focus on employees rather than just metrics.
The people I work with and the challenging nature of the work.
B&A strives for success by setting their people up to be successful. Leadership and Management is approachable and professional.
Not applicable.
They do not micromanage and my personal time is my own.
They want their people to be successful. They're professional and have an open door policy. They foster a good atmosphere.
Continue to find ways to engage and network to ensure newcomers always feel included.
Researched a bit about B&A (it's important to understand where they started and where they're at and how significant that is to those who have been there from the beginning). I asked about the culture before I experienced it. I was myself and spoke to my experiences and strengths.
It's competitive.
B&A wants a diverse culture/demographic representing their business. They also want the best people representing their brand.
The fact that leadership, management, and staff are not part of the challenges that result from our work is a joy in and of itself. They are part of the solution.
Great management team, the CARE program, work and home balance, career advancement, and training opportunities.
One con for me is not having more participation at company activities from the employees.
Being a brand ambassador
What I like best about the CEO and the leadership team is they are very personable. I have always have a positive experience when interacting with them.
I prepared for my interview with Bart and Associates by being being polite, positive, and just being my authentic self.
I have reviewed other companies salaries and B&A is great.

As a new employee at B&A, I'm incredibly impressed by the company's commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. From my initial observations, it's evident that the leadership team has implemented a range of initiatives to support employee well-being, promote diversity and inclusion, and encourage professional growth. I'm excited to be part of a company that prioritizes its employees' success and satisfaction, and I look forward to contributing to B&A's continued excellence.
In preparing for the interview with B&A, I took several steps to ensure I was well-equipped to showcase my qualifications and suitability for the role. Firstly, I thoroughly researched the company, familiarizing myself with its mission, values, recent projects, and industry reputation. This enabled me to align my responses with B&A's goals and demonstrate my genuine interest in contributing to its success. I also carefully reviewed the job description and requirements, identifying key skills and experiences that the hiring team might be looking for. I then tailored my resume and prepared specific examples from my past experiences that highlighted how I possessed those skills and could add value to the role. Furthermore, I anticipated potential interview questions and practiced my responses, focusing on articulating my achievements, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills effectively. Considering state residing in the compensation is generous and compatible with industry average.
B&A provides equal opportunities for career advancement, offering diversity training and education programs, and creating a supportive and inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of working at Bart and Associates is the opportunity to collaborate with talented colleagues on meaningful projects. I find joy in the camaraderie and teamwork that we share as we tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions for our clients. Additionally, seeing the positive impact of our work on the communities we serve brings me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. Whether it's through contributing to technology advancements, supporting community initiatives, or helping clients achieve their goals, knowing that I'm making a difference is what brings me the most joy at B&A.
I feel that my manager is totally invested in my growth and respectful of my work life balance. I have grown a lot with B&A and always find new opportunities when I seek them. I am encouraged to bring new ideas to the table and empowered to think out of the box.
I believe that B&A could benefit from creating a succession plan for employees that were a bit more clear. Also, it could benefit from a more transparent bonus program.
In general, work/life benefits at B&A are amazing. We have a robust wellness program that offers lots of supportive resources, and lots of add-on benefits to the regular package such as a healthcare concierge and an EAP that provides a huge benefit to employees.
I find the leadership team very accessible - I am able to talk directly to VP and C-Level staff and not feel intimidated.
More company sponsored events such as philanthropy-focused activities that get people out of the house and together. We do this well on individual teams, but I think we could do better company-wide.
I did my interview virtually. I prepared mostly through preparing to be thoughtful and personable. My interview was more of a conversation and very relaxed. I talked about my goals, which was impactful for my interviewee - she liked knowing I was aiming to grow.
My compensation matches the company average. I do feel that it took a decent amount of pushing to get to this point, however.
We do well to represent and celebrate diversity in an organic way.
I get pride and joy from completing a difficult or involved project.
The pros of working for BNA are the opportunities to attain a certification for a field of interest, if asked. Also, employee engagement and importance.
The cons for working for BNA are limited options to work/ contract out to other three letter agencies. I don’t believe those contracts have been won yet.
My favorite benefit of working for BNA is coverage options and apps like HealthJoy.
While I am not too familiar with our CEO, I will attest to the fact that leadership is a direct reflection of them- on top of it and with employees at the forefront.
Truthfully, I am happy with the culture.
N/A
The compensation at BNA compares to elsewhere is the same. However, the room for growth and increases is better here then elsewhere.
Very diverse at BNA.
Having a team that is fun and effective at their role.
The pros of working with Bart and Associates is the company’s genuine caring attitude, open door policy, career advancement opportunities, diversity and age inclusion, great salaries, ability to work remotely, great insurance benefits, and always asking how the company may improve.
I have none to speak of.
My favorite benefit are the insurance benefits.
What I like best about the leadership team at BART and Associates is the commitment to listen and show genuine care for employees.
I am not sure how this company may improve on the culture as for me it seems wonderful. I work with a great team, and as an Ambassador, I do try everyday to find new ways to engage the team to make them feel important and valued as individuals in our culture.
When I knew I wanted to work for Bart and Associates, I did look on line for important possible questions that may be asked. I looked over the possible scenarios and worded the potential answers to potential questions in a manner that best fit my years of experience and background. It does help to relieve the potential stress of not being prepared.
I am not knowledgeable enough about the industry average to answer this question. I do know that I am very satisfied with my salary.
I do work remotely. However, all employees find ways to get involved and we meet monthly. In those meetings, it is apparent that we have a very diverse workforce ranging in ages from very young to older.
I work remotely. It feels wonderful knowing I do not have to get up in the morning and fight traffic. I can arrange my breaks to best fit my needs depending on the daily activities.
Pros: B&A offer a lot of learning opportunities and provide great work-life balance.
Cons: The 401K plan can be better.
Having access to the HealthJoy app and having a wellness program in place, the Cares Program which supports my mental, physical, social, professional and financial well-being.
The leadership team shows empathy and emotional intelligence, understanding the needs and concerns of us employees and fostering a supportive work environment. The CEO is approachable and inspires me with his passion and strategic direction.
I would like to B&A to improve by having a better employee career development plan.
I prepared by researching information about B&A and doing some meditation prior to the interview.
The most fulfilling part of my job is to work with people from different backgrounds and having a lot of immigrants as part of B&A, since I am an immigrant, I feel like I belong at B&A.
The representation of diverse demographics of B&A is just amazing. Our diverse workforce brings together individuals with different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, making B&A a very special place to work.
In my experience, I feel like B&A compensation is pretty good compared to other GovCon companies.
