POSITION SUMMARY: The Bartender at one of Oxford's luxury or boutique-style hotels is responsible for crafting and serving high-quality cocktails and beverages while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a sophisticated hotel setting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.
Food and Beverage Service (60%):
Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, and other beverages with precision and consistency
Follow standardized recipes while incorporating creativity for signature drinks
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, wine pairings, and spirits based on guest preferences
Maintain consistent beverage presentation, portion control, and garnishing standards that reflect the hotel's upscale environment
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served
Display knowledge of liquor laws, maintain the attractive presentation and sanitize all areas at least once daily, make suggestions for the reception and drink menus
Bus and clean tables after guest use
Perform all tasks in compliance with federal, state, local, food safety and sanitation requirements and Oxford Collection of hotels safety standards and security procedures. Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations. Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to their supervisor or General Manager.
Guest Relations (30%):
Greet all guests warmly and provide attentive, knowledgeable service as they enter the lounge, offering thoughtful drink and food recommendations in alignment with Oxford Collection's elevated service standards
Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal drinking age requirements; check identification for guests appearing under the age of 26
Detect and act on customer inebriation, as trained
Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external guests
Other (10%):
Communicate effectively with all hotel staff to ensure smooth delivery of services
Lock up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secures bank
Complete a daily activity log with pertinent shift information for co-workers and leadership team
Coordinate with front desk, maintenance staff, Food and Beverage Manager and General Manager on things requiring attention
Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for scheduled shifts

Position Purpose
Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to bar patrons; fills orders from cocktail waitress/waiter for patrons seated at tables in lounge and throughout the casino. This is an on call position to cover special events, Banquets and holidays.

Provide superior customer service.

The Restaurant Server is responsible for coordinating the entire server station and effectively communicating with both front and back-of-house staff to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Essential Functions:
Obtain an assigned station from the Manager at the start of each work shift.
Greet guests, present menus, and make suggestions regarding food, beverages, specials, and services, ensuring all guest questions are answered.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, special requests, and dietary options.
Ensure the prompt and accurate service of food and beverages.
Confirm guest orders are prepared and served properly and in a timely manner.
Perform side work before, during, and at the end of each shift to ensure workstations are stocked and clean.
Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, bussing duties as necessary, and ensure the dining area remains organized and presentable.
Demonstrate the ability to handle peak period demands and efficiently manage multiple tables.
Communicate effectively with the wait staff, Manager-On-Duty, and other team members to ensure service efficiency.
Work closely with cooks, bartenders, and serving staff to ensure smooth operations.
