The Bartender is responsible for greeting customers, taking drink/food orders, mixing ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and sugar to prepare cocktails and other drinks, as well as serving beer and other beverages, and completing transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist and approach all guests in a sincere, courteous and service-oriented manner, and whenever possible, goes the extra mile to ensure total guest satisfaction.
Learn guest's name and uses them to address them. Remember regular guest's favorite drinks.
Perform cashier duties following both Stonebridge Companies and the Franchise standards, while ensuring quality service and guest satisfaction.
Thoroughly and correctly set up the bar prior to opening; makes sure bar is clean before and at the end of shift according to operational policies and standards to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
Completes necessary side-work as per schedule, this includes stocking and organizing all liquor, juices, glassware, paper, wines, cut fruit, etc.
Knowledgeable about all menu items and beverages served, their garnish, contents and preparation methods. Can answer guest's questions regarding such with confidence and accuracy.
Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase check averages.
Must complete and maintain up-to-date alcohol serving class, such as TIPS or other state approved classes.
Adhere to all local and national liquor laws.
Check guest order prior to serving to ensure that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
Assist in maintaining beverage cost by reducing unnecessary waste.
To take and know inventory at all times and requisition daily supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations.
Take order accurately and follow proper cashiering functions by completing/closing guest checks and submitting information into POS system.
Follow prescribed procedures in serving liquor.
Be knowledgeable about the computer system to handle all guest transactions.
Pre-busses and busses all tables per standards and prepares for future customers.
Attend meetings/training as required by management.
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages, according to local state laws.
Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

PURPOSE
The Bartender is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking all food and beverage orders, and making sure they are delivered in a timely manner to the guests satisfaction

Responsibilities
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu
Check customers' identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Learn drink menus and ingredients
Become familiar with beverage providers' history and processes
Requirements
Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
Computer literacy
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
Relevant training certificate
Ability to retain information and relay information to customers
Compensation: $15.27 per hour

What You'll Do
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, engaging guests, and delivering premium bar experience. Your mission is to anticipate guest needs, execute flawless drinks, and create an inviting, high-energy atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve signature cocktails, classic drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages to maintain THE ONE GROUP's high-quality standards
Maintain an expert-level knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail recipes
Engage with guests, providing menu recommendations and an interactive experience
Process drink orders efficiently and accurately into the Point of Sale (POS) system
Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including processing credit card transactions and making changes when necessary
Set up, stock, and maintain an organized, clean bar before, during, and after shifts
Garnish drinks, replenish snacks, and present beverages attractively and consistently
Assist with food orders for guests seated at the bar and ensure timely delivery
Comply with all health and safety regulations and maintain high sanitation standards
Report maintenance or equipment issues to management
Perform blind cash drops in the safe at the end of each shift
Support the front-of-house team by helping with food running, bussing tables, and assisting hosts when needed
What We're Looking For
Previous bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale bar or restaurant preferred
Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, and craft beer
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently under pressure
Excellent guest engagement and communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays or bar equipment as needed
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Must follow all alcohol service guidelines and always represent STK professionally

Bartender Position
Job Summary: Bartenders are in charge of their section behind the bar as well as on the floor. Pouring craft beer, wine and mixing cocktails for guests and creating a lively environment. Exhibit proper knowledge, bartending techniques and delivery of Food and Beverage offerings
Describe Food and Beverage features on a daily basis.
Oversee bar maintenance and coordinate service at the bar with fellow team members
Work alongside barbacks in clearing and bar
Work with a sense of urgency at all times to provide anticipatory service which anticipates the guests' needs and appreciates the fine details of service
Communicate with management regarding all customer needs comments or incidents
Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division and Health Department following all health and safety regulations
Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned
Other Functions:
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
Complying with health and food safety standards, restocking items, and cleaning
Operating the cash register, answering the phone, providing great customer service, and following company policies & procedures

Must be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as needed

Work in both warm and cool environments

Requirements:
Should have at least 2 years of full-service, high volume Bartending experience
Should have in depth knowledge of food, wine, beer and liquors
Must be at least 21 years of age to Bartend
Is able to communicate positively and efficiently
A team player with a positive attitude
Respectful and remains calm under pressure
Is organized, efficient and able to maintain a clean work environment
Must have a great sense of hospitality and understand how it impacts on our business
