Prepares beverages for outdoor pool guests in a prompt and courteous manner while maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency and in compliance with hotel, Marriott, and Forbes standards. This is a part-time, seasonal position. JOB DUTIES Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner as they approach the bar. Takes orders for food and beverages, explaining menu items and drinks as needed. Receives drink orders from servers. Responds quickly to guests' requests and follows-up to ensure satisfaction. Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes, ensuring proper portioning of products to control costs and provide consistency. Pours and serves nonalcoholic beverages such as soda and water. Rings up tickets using Micros point of sale system. Sets up bar at the beginning of shift and maintains a clean and organized work area throughout shift. Monitors guest behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service should cease. Requisitions liquors and supplies. Verifies liquor, beer and wine inventory. Completes requisition sheets and stores stock. Obtains, counts, and secures bar bank, following proper money handling procedures.
