Greet the guest within thirty seconds of their arrival into the restaurant.
Offer the guest drinks and fill the order.
Explain our menu along with any chief specials that we may be serving.
Take their order and fill the order, making sure that food arrives at the table within eight minutes from order time.
Round out their meal by offering desert after their meal along with any after dinner drinks (if server/bartender is working the evening shift).
Present the check
Making sure that all tickets including vouchers are rang up in the P.O.S. System. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If in-room dinning is being offered, server/bartender is responsible for delivery of food ordered to the room within thirty minutes of order time.
Responsible for setting tables up for breakfast and stocking up cabinets full of glasses for next day use.
Responsible for “rolling†their own flatware for next day use.
Clean as you go all guest visible areas, (breakfast cold bar, sneeze guards etc.)
Bust all tables immediately unless it interferes with taking a guest order, in which case, you will take the order then bust the table(s).
All windows, windows seals, doors and etc. should be cleaned daily for finger prints and dust.
All shelving should be check daily and dusted when needed.
Carpet should be vacuumed daily.
If no steward is available, bartender is responsible for sweeping and mopping as well as cleaning all glassware and flatware.
Bartender is responsible for following all recipes on our drink menu and reporting any broken or spilled alcoholic beverages on the waste sheet. Always keeping in their mind our 21% beverage cost goal.

Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain stock levels of bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and napkins.

Bar Cleanliness & Organization:

Clean and sanitize bar equipment, countertops, utensils, and glassware.
Ensure that the bar is consistently stocked with fresh garnishes, glassware, napkins, and other supplies.
Wash and sterilize bar glassware, ensuring all glasses are spotless and free from fingerprints or smudges.
Maintain cleanliness of the surrounding area, including floors, chairs, and tables.
Compliance with Safety & Legal Regulations:
Serve alcohol responsibly, following all legal and company guidelines regarding alcohol consumption and responsible drinking.
Monitor guests for signs of intoxication and refuse service when necessary, following hotel policies.
Check IDs of guests to ensure legal drinking age is met.
Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and hotel regulations regarding alcohol service and safety protocols.
Follow health and safety standards, ensuring the safe handling of alcohol and other beverages.
Customer Experience & Upselling:
Engage with guests to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits.
Upsell drinks, specials, or additional services (such as appetizers or bar food) to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, working to resolve any issues quickly and to the guest's satisfaction.

Teamwork & Collaboration:

Overview
The seasonal Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced, festive, and upscale environment. Responsibilities
Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
Responsible to learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties & spirits available, and be able to learn to suggestively upsell products to guests.
Must pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.

Responsibilities
Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met.
Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
Maintain and inventory for both food and beverage stations.
Maintain all event areas and front of house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
Participate in both setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
Ability to work independently during slower times
Perform safe work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.
Have a high level of social contact. Ability to work closely with staff and deal often with patrons.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and select holidays.
Must be detail oriented to ensure that work is accurate and complete.
