Under the direction of the Supervisor Beverage, the Cocktail Server provides timely, accurate and responsible cocktail service and complimentary soft drink service to all Yaamava' guests. While adhering to the Yaamava' Brand Standards, they provide beverage service during daily floor operations, as well as for special events. Takes orders and forms of payment from guests while adhering to Yaamava Service and Brand Standards. Responsible for providing knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverages to our casino and hotel guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) * Have a full working knowledge of the menu, specials, beverages and wine lists. * Follows the correct sequence of service at all times. * Clears, cleans, resets, and maintains station during shift. * Assists other servers in giving the best possible service. * Handles guests receipts according to internal controls. * Assures F&;B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards, as well as all applicable regulations. * Remains up-to-date on property events and hours of operation for all F&;B outlets.May be assigned to Food & Beverage work stations of the casino and/or hotel. * Provide excellent guest service.Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures. Must present a professional and pleasant appearance. Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to work any day, any shift. Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team. Must be willing to participate in on-going training in the beverage field. Must have knowledge of current property events and promotions. About the role: Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner. Prepares and pours all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers upon request. Provides entertainment for guests through entertainment pouring. Provides to customers property information on current events and promotions. Processes all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change accurately and presents customer with bar receipt. Calls a designated slot employee when need by a guest. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies. Maintain, clean, and stock the assigned bar area. A few more things: Must be able to work in a smoke filled and noisy environment and maneuver through assigned area during entire shift. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift items up to 75 pounds. Must be able to stoop, bend and reach. Able to use hand motion when preparing and pouring all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers. Able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping bar counter. Able to bend, pull and carry bar stock to refrigerators and cabinets. Responds to visual and aural cues. Able to complete required paperwork for cash transactions. Able to operate a variety of equipment. Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many customers.
