Server Operations
Complete all side-work and cleaning duties as described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Job may entail restaurant and/or banquet settings.
Have full knowledge of entire menu, as well as daily specials, deserts, etc.
Take all guests orders, ring them up, and expedite the orders from the kitchen in a presentable and timely manner.
Provide attentive service, focusing on guests' needs.
Receive payment for food and beverage provided and provide change and receipt to guests.
Keep an accurate record of all checks and balance to be presented in a daily report.
Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service oriented manner.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Gulph Creek standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
Comply at all times with Gulph Creek standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Toast POS experience preferred.
Bar knowledge required.

UMMARY:
THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INITIAL PREPARATION AND SERVICING OF ALL PERMANENT AND PORTABLE BARS OPERATING WITHIN THE HOTEL.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
THE POSITION REQUIRES PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, WITH OR WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION.
25% - SET-UP BARS, MOVE PORTABLE BARS THAT WEIGH UP TO 300 LBS.
15% - RETREIVES ORDERS, GLASSWARE AND ICE FROM STOREROOM AND DELIVERS TO BAR SITES
20% - CHECKS AND ASSISTS BARTENDER IN MAINTAINING ADEQUATE AMOUNTS OF SUPPLIES, I.E., STIR STICKS, NAPKINS, GLASSWARE, ICE, ETC., FOR BOTH THE IMMEDIATE BAR AND EXTENDED SERVICE AREA.
20% - MAINTAINS CLEANLINESS OF BAR AREA, BEER LOCKERS, REFRIGERATION AND STORAGE AREAS TO COMPLY WITH HEALTH CODE STANDARDS, INCLUDING MOPPING FLOORS, EMPTY TRASH AND RECYCLABLES, ETC.
5% - SCOOPS ICE FROM ICE BINS, TRANSPORTS TO SERVICE AREAS AND REPLENISHES ICE CONTAINERS FOR USAGE.
5% - DISPOSES OF ALL LIQUOR, BEER, WINE AND TRASH FROM BARS
5% - ASSISTS IN KEEPING EVENT AREAS CLEAR OF BAR GLASSES AND DEBRIS
5% - MAINTAIN COVERAGE OF BARS WHILE BARTENDER HAS A BREAK.
OTHER DUTIES
IN ADDITION TO PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, THIS POSITION MAY BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS, WITH THE PERCENTAGE OF TIME PERFORMING EACH FUNCTION TO BE SOLELY DETERMINED BY THE SUPERVISOR BASED UPON THE PARTICULAR REQUIREMENTS OF THE COMPANY.

What You'll Do:
Assist cooks with preparing and serving quality meals while following safety and sanitation standards
Deliver hot and cold foods, beverages, and nourishments to residents and designated locations
Serve meals in collaboration with nursing team members in Healthcare and Personal Care areas
