Summary:
As a Bar prep, his/her duties will consist of following the direction of the Lead Bartender to execute bar program recipes and assist bartenders in daily prep.
The Bar Prep is responsible for supporting the bar department and bar team in advance of the shift. This role involves bar setup, prep & stocking, batching cocktails, preparing juices and garnishes, organizing, maintaining overall cleanliness, and ensuring the efficiency of the bar and surrounding areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Answer, report, and follow management instructions.
Cleanliness of prep area. Ensure that all proper sanitation practices are enforced when talking care of the area.
Maintaining pars of bar garnishes, juices, cocktail batches, syrups, etc.
Restock all inventory: liquor, wine, juices, glassware, etc.
Setting up bar with appropriate mise en place
Requirements/Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in restaurants
Other Skills and Knowledge:
Proven restaurant experience, including but not limited to experience as a prep cook, barback, bartender, or server.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Familiar with basic bar terms and ingredients

Learn your guests' names, occupations, and favorite drinks. This will make the Restaurant a special place for them.
Responsible service of alcohol. Should a guest reach the state you do not feel they should drive, we will supply a taxi. Do not hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary.
