The Bartender is responsible for following all company standards of excellence for preparing all beverages, taking service orders for guests, managing food and beverage service, creating an enthusiastic environment, and maintaining a clean and sanitary bar. The Bartender is expected to meet all responsible beverage service policies. As the primary contact for guests, the Bartender should convey energy, creativity, zest, and professionalism. Job Duties: - Clean and set up the bar according to the standards by opening time (as it applies). Greet all guests with a smile and eye contact within one minute of sitting down. Suggest specific drinks, appetizers, specials, entrées, desserts, and after-dinner drinks to increase the average check value and ensure guest satisfaction. Place all orders correctly, as ordered. Enter food and beverage orders into the Point-of-Sale system accurately, before delivering to the guest. Prepare all beverages at the bar according to specifications in a prompt manner for both guests and servers. Pay attention to finer points of the dining experience, such as water refills, extra napkins, and timely presentation of the check.
