GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB This job requires the Twin Peaks Bar Back to clean and maintain all things related to the Twin Peaks bar and its unique beverage program. Each team member is defined by pride, extreme standards, and discipline when it comes to maintaining the Twin Peaks bar alongside the Twin Peaks Girl behind the bar.
THE UNIFORM
* Clean TP black hat facing forward at all times. Brim never bent.
* Hair must be kept clean. All hair must be kept underneath the TP hat.
* Clean shaven. Beards & mustaches are allowed, but must be maintained.
* Fingernails must be kept trimmed.
* Jewelry is not allowed to be worn in ears, face, around the neck or wrists.
* Head phones or ear buds are not to be worn.
* Clean non-faded/wrinkled TP kitchen shirt tucked in.
* Belt is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of a Twin Peaks Bar Back include, but are not limited to:
* Adhering to uniform standards
* Adhering to policies and procedures that maintain a clean and sanitized bar
* Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
* Ensure HOH Standards, Safety and Sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times
* Ability to work as a team
* Train using tablets or computer
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Any other duty/responsibility that management may deem necessary
* Assisting with opening and closing duties including, but not limited to, restocking the bar with all necessary items, cleaning the bar, mopping, etc.
* Ensuring the bar is always well stocked
* Changing kegs, checking taps, and appliances to confirm they are working and in good repair
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Proven experience as a Bar Back.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate in English. Must be able understand the policies and procedures used to clean and sanitize a restaurant.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Twin Peaks training. Must attend and successfully complete the training program prior to working a shift without supervision. Must successfully attend and complete any and all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications.

Under general supervision creates a casino experience that meets or exceeds guests' expectations by filling beverage orders and presenting properly prepared drinks a timely fashion both at the bar and on the Casino floor; maintains a clean, orderly and well-stocked bar; and performs other duties as required.

Essential Functions:

Greet guests seated at the bar and on the Casino floor and solicit beverage orders; answer guests' questions about drink items and make choice suggestions or recommendations upon request in order to practice the highest standards of WE ROCK Credo.
Verify that guests ordering alcoholic beverages meet the minimum age requirements for service by asking for and verifying the possession of a valid picture identification in order to lessen liability for the Nugget and protect the community from underage drinkers.
Prepare cocktails and other drinks by mixing ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and/or bitters, according to recipes or guests' instructions; serve wine and bottled or draft beer in order to fulfill guest requirements.
Lessen liability and potential problems by observing the demeanor of guests in order to determine levels of intoxication and take appropriate remedial actions including notifying security, cutting off service and/or ordering alternate transportation.
Observe guests while making rounds on the Casino floor to determine that guests are satisfied, to respond to additional service requirements and ensure patron has no other immediate needs.
Complete all orders promptly so that guests in all casino venues receive world-class drinks service.
Record all sales and "comps" by entering exact amounts into the point of sales terminal/cash register; total bills and accept payment from guests in a timely fashion in order to provide an accurate accounting of business.
Respond to guests' questions, using the Quick Reference Guide, providing information about casino gaming promotions, special and other events and/or programs in order to assist guests, advertise marketing campaigns and encourage guest attendance and participation.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide training and oversight to less experienced Team Members.
Maintain the appearance of bar and lounge areas by cleaning and resetting bars and related areas; emptying ashtrays; stocking and removing glassware and related supplies such as ice, napkins and straws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
