0Summary (Essential Functions): Provide consistently excellent food & beverage service to Club members and guests.
Sign-on Bonus: After 6 months of service, active employees receive sign-on bonuses as follows:
35+ hrs/wk - $1000
21 - 35 hrs/wk - $500
1 - 20 hrs/wk - $250
Details:
Set up wait stations and perform assigned prep work
Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating
Distribute menus, inform member of any special offerings, and answer any questions
Take orders and enter into POS system, including special instructions and requests
Serve meals; remove dishes upon completion
Present dessert menus, suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks
Verify accuracy of all charges on chit
Present chit to member and obtain member signature
Handle chits as prescribed by standard operating procedures, bundling and turning in at the end of the day with the appropriate end of shift reports
Keep tables, dining room, and wait station areas clean and neat
Inform Dining Manager of any complaints as soon as they occur
Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager
Attend pre-shift line-up, menu tastings, and any other meetings as prescribed by management
Consistently follow local laws, state laws, and Club policies and procedures for service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess excellent people skills, basic food and wine knowledge, and the ability to multi-task. The candidate will be reliable and have a strong work ethic with a 'team mentality.' The position requires flexible availability and effective communication skills.
