* You repair, replace, remove, and/or modify manufacturing structures and equipment to correct feed manufacturing problems of a mechanical, electrical, and/or structural nature.
* You maintain accurate daily records of all work performed daily in the computerized maintenance management system
* You have knowledge of or be willing to obtain knowledge of PLC
* You are able to wear a full face respirator and pass pulmonary testing
* You are able to operate tow motors, pallet jacks, aerial man lifts
* You assess, diagnose, and evaluate feed manufacturing problems of a mechanical, electrical, and/or structural nature.
* You perform preventative maintenance (e.g. lubrication, inspection, etc.) for feed manufacturing structures and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Able to operate, start up, shut down, assemble, tear down, and change over all production equipment.
Able to trouble shoot equipment break downs and develop corrective actions to avoid future down time.
Maintain and execute preventative maintenance schedule for all production and warehouse equipment.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of basic electrical systems utilizing VFD's, potentiometers, e-stops (and associated hardware), and overload protection (thermal & magnetic) that may or may not interface with a PLC or other HMI.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of basic pneumatic systems utilizing regulators, pneumatic->electric converters, lubrication applicators, actuators, 4-way manifolds, solenoids, and needle valves that may or may not interface with a PLC or other HMI.
Responsible for collecting and analyzing data relating to equipment performance, breakdowns, repairs, and utility usage.
Assist in training new line operators or cross training current production staff and supervisors.
Ability to operate an electric tow motor, electric pallet jack, and scissor lift
Ability to read and interpret equipment operation & service manuals.
Knowledge and understanding of GMP's, SSOP's, Lock Out/Tag Out, USDA regulations, and FDA regulations.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team oriented environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a well-organized individual that is self motivated and takes charge, is dependable and responsible, enjoys new opportunities and challenges, enjoys working with and developing people, deals with criticism calmly and effectively, is attentive to detail and is thorough in completing tasks as assigned and on time, is flexible and open to change. LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical and mechanical concepts such as probability, electricity, pneumatics, steam, and weights and measures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Overall, Purpose and Objective of Position
This position maintains and repairs equipment for a soybean Crushing and Refining plant. The primary function is to ensure that the machinery and equipment in the plant remain in good order to optimize plant productivity and efficiency. Responsible for complying with all applicable Company standards, government regulations and best manufacturing practices. Maintenance responsibilities include project and outage work.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Welds, torches, cuts and fabricates
Maintains and repairs operating equipment, including troubleshooting, removing, installing, rebuilding, lubricating and cleaning all equipment associated with the production process
Performs basic instrument replacement and basic electrical work
Works with plant operations to accomplish all tasks in a timely and safe manner
Learning plant process and procedures for plant start-up, shutdown and operations for better understanding of how equipment is utilized
Ensures compliance with Company safety rules and policies, wears proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in fulfillment of assigned responsibilities
Maintains accurate and timely, notifications and work orders in computerized maintenance system

Regular exposure to a variety of temperatures and prevailing weather conditions; regular exposure to gases, vapor, dust, odor and flammable liquids; occasional exposure to areas with wet/icy floors and high volume of noise. Heavy lifting of manufacturing materials and products is required. Position will require regular stair climbing and extended periods of walking and standing to access and occasionally work in remote areas of the plant, heights and confined spaces. Get fit tested and use half/full-face respirators. Personal protective equipment will be worn in compliance with Company standards and government regulations. Covers of call-ins or the extension of regular working hours are occasionally necessary to complete time-sensitive projects, attend training or to respond to emergencies.
