In this role, your primary function will be to setup and operate external grinder(s) to grind a wide variety of precision parts having many shoulders, unusual contours, or tapers with close tolerances and high degree of finishing. Job Functions for a Machine Operator: Reads and interprets work orders, drawings and basic blueprints to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures control settings, and grinding methods Mounts, dresses wheels for form, taper, step and straight grinding operations for a variety of materials.
