Kazu has more than twenty years of experience in Financial Management covering start-ups to large international corporations in the US, Japan and Brazil. As Senior Finance executive, he played a critical role in private fund raising of a total of over US$150M for several star-ups such as Genesys Labs, Centerbeam Inc. and Reply.com in the Bay Area. His employment also included Director of Business Planning and Strategies at Visa International and Director of Business Planning and Strategies at Prestige International, Japan’s leading value added CRM solutions provider during Pre-IPOs. Before recently returning to Silicon Valley, Kazu had been in Sao Paulo, Brazil engaged in a few M&A deals among Brazilian and foreign companies in the area of Logistic Services. He also developed and executed several projects including founding an emission reduction project development company and establishing partnerships and strategic alliances between Brazilian companies and foreign companies in the area of manufacturing and energy management. Kaz earned B.A in Economics from Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan and an MBA from East Carolina University.
