What You'll Do: As a Maintenance Millwright, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation by being a core member of all rotating equipment repairs and responsible for providing first-line support to the Production Department. The Maintenance Millwright will be supporting different production units in the plant by operating, maintaining, and rebuilding of Large Gearboxes and Agitators, Centrifugal & Positive Displacement Pumps, Blowers, Vacuum Pumps, Conveyors and Dryers. What We're Looking For: Repair and perform equipment upgrades on all ANSI pumps, Vikings, and Blowers the size of 36” and below. Demonstrating an ability to use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, and total indicator reading (TIR) indicators. Demonstrating an ability to use basic hand tools and cut gaskets as well as shims. Demonstrating the ability to use the SAP software. Demonstrating an understanding of reading basic drawings and blueprints. Demonstrating engagement and wants to learn more. Able to repair and perform equipment upgrades on all API pumps. Demonstrating capability of rebuilding Seal Pac's and repairing Lightning agitators. Demonstrating ability to check bearing fits and measure runouts. Demonstrating ability to use all shop tools and can identify the correct tool for the task at hand. Ensuring capability to be trained and applying knowledge to use carry deck crane or equivalent. Willingness to take maintenance callouts. Complying with all Lubrizol Safe Work Practices and Procedures. Foster a safety-first culture by actively making safety observations and correcting unsafe behaviors. Foster a culture of teamwork. Other duties as assigned. Skills That Make a Difference: High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years' experience as a Maintenance Millwright within a industrial plant or chemical manufacturing plant/environment. Willingness to comply with all safety rules and Lubrizol Policies. Must be able to work in the proper PPE, including fit-tested equipment such as supplied-air masks or respirators as needed Must be able to work overtime including callouts, weekends, holidays, and all weather conditions. Normal work schedule - 4/10's Monday through Thursday. Must be able to read, understand and use IOMs or blueprints to tear down / rebuild equipment. Effective interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented and the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through Ability to handle multiple tasks to accomplish the overall goal Ability to perform repairs, inspections, make any necessary adjustments, and document the results. Installs, repairs, maintains and performs Preventative Maintenance (PM's) on any and all pumps, gearboxes, agitators, compressors, blowers, centrifuges, and conveyors. Willingness to complete all paperwork in a timely manner, including timesheets, shop papers, and alignment records. This involves computer records that need to be completed, including entering completion codes in the SAP maintenance system, buying parts out of Stores, and completing computer-based training. Ability to perform maintenance duties in the field and the pump shop. Ability to handle and operate a variety of tools to complete the job at hand. Ability to study plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations. Ensures operation and inspection of mobile equipment such as Carts, Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, and JLG Boom Lifts. Ableness to walk on an elevated catwalks over 15 feet high and working confined spaces to perform daily duties.
