The Coach fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by developing, initiating, and administering the program in a particular sport that adequately prepares the student-athlete for interscholastic competition. The Coach is recommended to the principal by the athletic director, hired by the principal, and evaluated in consultation with the athletic director.

Coaches plan, organize, and run practices and competitions throughout the season. All coaches are required to complete Diocesan EIM training and are highly encouraged to be CPR and First Aid certified.

Programs will run every day of the week, the majority of the summer from either 9am - noon or 1pm - 4pm and will be held at various locations throughout greater Indianapolis. Ages are K - 5th grade. Help grow the love of sports and fitness and make the difference in the life of a child!

Some of our programs have flexible hours, or don't require all day, so we'll work with you and your schedule to find a fit.

Direct experience coaching, refereeing, or playing basketball

Direct experience working with kids (ages 5-12)

Ability to pass a background check

Have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Willingness to travel to different areas of the Greater Indianapolis region both within and outside of the beltway (25 ml radius)

Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, jump, jog, and move actively to execute a class

Ability to occasionally carry large amounts of equipment

Arrive for set up and begin all classes on time and be able to work independently with no direct supervision

Communication through email / text / phone and Marco Polo app
