As a receiving clerk, you will communicate with inbound drivers to ensure Key Responsibilities: Communicate with inbound drivers Verify documentation for product received, Bills of Lading, and receiving documentation (Warehouse receiving documents, purchase orders, date codes, pallet verification report, and receiving exception report) Notify Supervisor of major discrepancies, before product is received Properly document inbound carriers in Receiving Log Post receive purchase orders Prepare the Receiving Exception Report daily Coordinate with receiver and unloader on priority of Dock Door assignments and driver contact Assist with collection of freight handling fees, late delivery fees, check approvals for these amounts and issue receipts Compile end of shift receiving/inventory debrief Check APT to ensure team members time and performance are accurate Properly document outbound trailers in shipping log Promptly report damage and all inventory discrepancies Maintain all food safety, housekeeping, and other applicable standards Cross-train to cover Shipping Clerk functions as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
