Climbing Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance. Stooping/Bending Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station. Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients. Crouching/Squatting Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas. Reaching Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward.     We are currently looking for a full time Facilities Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for the Facility Coordination and Maintenance of the Southside Processing Plant and all Southside Market and Barbeque restaurants. Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of vendor supervision, preventative maintenance, and repair tasks to maintain the good condition and functionality of the buildings, equipment, and grounds for the plant and all restaurants. The facilities department is based out of Elgin, TX, with regular travel to our five locations in Central Texas as projects require. This is a hands-on position which will require a high level of resourcefulness, good communication skills, and basic mechanical skills. This position will report directly to the Director of Facilities. Primary Functions: Primary Areas of Responsibility * Work in conjunction with the Director of Facilities to develop and implement a world class Facilities Preventive Maintenance program * Assist in setting standards and expectations for equipment up time * Support the Operations Team to allow them to always serve guests the highest quality food products * Manage work orders and projects through maintenance software * Perform and supervise basic preventative and on demand maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards * Performs and supervise basic preventative and on demand maintenance of electrical systems such as replacing light bulbs, sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels * Assist with the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when advised * Assists with the maintenance of the heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality * Inspect alarm systems and schedules repairs as needed * Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities * Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust as needed * Conduct general upkeep procedures such as landscaping and other tasks as assigned * Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties * Assist with maintenance logs and report on daily activities * Ensure health and safety policies are followed
