The Baton Rouge Community College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, offers innovating, flexible and comprehensive programs to meet the educational and workforce needs of the local community. The school provides support services through its Center for Academic Success. Students may utilize resources such as workshops and class visits, the writing center, private or group tutoring sessions, quality enhancement first year experience plans and more. Degrees are available in Liberal Arts, Construction Management, Business Associate, Paralegal Studies and more. Certificate programs are also available in Business Technology, Emergency Management and Customer Service Technical Competency. Admissions require students to submit an official high school transcript or GED certificate, immunization records and ACT/SAT scores. Students may complete a COMPASS entrance assessment if they have received scores less than 19 in Math and 18 in English for the ACT and 460 in Math and 350 in English on the SAT. Tuition payment plans are available to make paying for school more convenient. Financial aid is available to eligible students who have filed a FAFSA through state aid programs, scholarships, grants, loans and federal work study programs.
