Pros of working at Batory Foods

Plenty of work, you’re never searching for something to do to “keep busy.” Follow the rules and safety protocols and you’ll do well.

Cons of working at Batory Foods

Long process to get hired on-start as a temporary employee. I worked at the Wilmington site in 2017 and then again in 2023. I went back because I enjoyed the “family” atmosphere. Well, that no longer exists. There’s no accountability. If you’re on the picking/shipping side you’ll end up fixing and reporting damaged items and hand stacking pallets because the inbound operators aren’t held accountable or even try to fix their damage. They do have the technology and equipment to make the process easier but if you’re like me, the ones who cause the damage should fix it. If you add in the fact that one person was told by upper management that they were doing away with the mid shift and going to two shifts and when immediate supervisor was asked about it he was quick to reply he’s not responding to rumors. It doesn’t seem like the supervisors, some, really have no experience in management.

Batory Foods benefits

The good thing was two 30min breaks during your 8.5hr shift, really gives you a break and makes the time fly by.
