  • Respond to all structure fires and major incidents in the city of San Antonio.

  • Coordinated Training Programs, Maintained budgets on training, travel, and fleet.
  • Planned and evaluated military operations.
  • Provide Honor Guard Service and Support for the Community and Surrounding Fire Departments and Law Enforcement.
  • Directed Fire and Rescue operations on and off scene.
  • Research and review of incident reports for completion and accuracy.
  • Certified Urban Search and Rescue Specialist and served as the Public Information Officer for the St. Louis Metro USAR Team.
  • Completed 4 weeks Marine combat training.
  • Managed the annual weapons training requirements and qualifications for a Battalion of 550 Marines and Sailors.
  • Fire Inspections, LE 38's.
  • Oversee the operations of the Hazardous Materials Team.
  • Interpreted and relayed directives of superior officers to subordinates to assure compliance and understanding of departmental policies.
