Built in 1956, the 83,000-square-foot building at 765 Upton Ave. is currently renting out space to Woodlawn Preschool, The Family Enrichment Center, Veterans Helping Veterans, Woman’s Cooperative, the Truth and Titus Collective and the Seventh Day-Adventist Church.
By January 1992, the foundation had moved on from that headquarters to its sprawling downtown site, which cost $64 million to construct and took five years to build.
Calhoun Community was chartered by Kellogg Community College in 2000 and located at the former Central Christian Community Church on Riverside Drive.
• Springfield High School/Math & Science Center: Purchased by the Burma Center in 2014.
