What You'll Do
Apply and demonstrate strong software engineering expertise to build and develop robust software architectures. Influence the processes and methodologies the team uses to develop quality software.
Develop software components in an Android environment that will be deployed in medical products, using architectural patterns, strong object-oriented principles, unit testing, and automated testing tools.
Own and control software implementation, ensuring that software is built in a modular fashion, testable, reusable, and maintainable.
Participate in the formal documentation processes for requirements generation, software architecture, and detailed builds.
Analyze and understand product requirements, deriving software requirements.
Identify key product-level technical risks and assist project managers in developing mitigation and recovery plans.
Review work products and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Provide input to test strategies at both product and module levels.
Drive the application of principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and testing techniques.
Own and drive continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately advancing process and product quality gaps.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related fieldwith 5+ years in software engineering and 2+ years developing Android applications
Proficiency in Java/Kotlin, with additional familiarity in JavaScript/TypeScript and C++ for embedded/firmware
Hands‑on experience with Android SDK, NDK, Android Studio, and strong understanding of Android architecture, components, security, and best practices
Background in regulated industries preferred, especially medical devices with exposure to IEC 62304 and quality/regulatory collaboration
Strong software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, TDD, and CI/CD familiarity
Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira, and version control systems such as Git or SVN
Proven track record of delivering technical solutions, solving complex problems, and working effectively with cross‑functional and multisite teams
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset and willingness to mentor and drive team success

Utilize voice to pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or to pick small unit of measure items and place on cart
Palletize large items to skid and wrap for shipment
Pack small items in boxes
Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes: order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product.

The Opportunity

The Metrology Technician will service and calibrate a wide variety of equipment, instruments, and measurement standards.
What You'll Work On
Safely and effectively performs service, calibration, and maintenance on a broadly defined scope of equipment and instruments as an Metrology Technician. Applies moderately complex principles, trouble shoots and assists others in resolving equipment/instrument issues in a timely manner.

**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location within the PA Public Affairs Division.
The technical director provides broad-range meeting production, video production and communications services. The technical director is responsible providing technical design (e.g., A/V equipment, room/stage layout, audience seating, virtual considerations) and providing production scheduling for both pre-production and on-site execution of audio-visual services as appropriate to each live, virtual or hybrid meeting or event.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Risk and Compliance Auditor with specialized expertise in auditing medical device software to protect patient safety and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This role involves conducting technical audits across the software development lifecycle, assessing adherence to quality management systems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives for product software including SAMD, SIMD, Non product software and cloud based applications.
As a Senior Software Risk and Compliance Auditor, you will lead Quality System audits and assessments according to regulations, standards and Abbott procedures.
You will participate in cross-divisional activities to integrate information from compliance audits, assessments and regulatory trends that may impact Divisions.
The responsibility of the role includes proactive determination of regulatory, compliance, and quality issues, to integrate them into audits and assessments.

Required Qualifications:
