Inventory current tooling used at work-centers (such as custom-made boring heads) to help identify where spare tooling will be required to help production flow. Assist the CNC operators in part changeover duties in pit-crew style changeovers to help the changeover go quicker and smoother. Help complete program changes/transfers when CNC Programmer needs support. Perform other duties, as assigned. The ideal candidate is an up-and-coming project manager that can support multiple projects from all aspects, including design, estimating, billing, execution, change management, and closeout. Non-Exempt Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the project manager with contract review and execution. Assist the project manager with project financial setup & operational setup in software. Assist the project manager with schedule review and analysis. Assist the project manager with the submittal process, including log setup, review, corrections, and distribution to project vendors and subcontractors. Assist the project manager with setup, maintenance, and distribution of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and request for information. Assist the project manager with all aspects of change management. Assist the project manager with estimating, including project changes or work outside project scope. Assist with procurement of materials. Manage project closeout, create maintenance and operation manuals, and other required project closeout documents at the competition of project Candidate must be able to understand and complete tasks within company or project timelines, and to take directions from supervisor/manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Assists the project team with delivery and execution of Excellence Huddles, Stretch-N-Flex, Tips of the Day, and site audits. * Assists risk manager with risk control plan implementation, site audits, subcontractor management, incident investigations, and other assigned tasks. * Assists with project orientations. * Develops proficiencies in using software and programs utilized by the Risk Management department. * Learns to identify potential project risks and develop solutions. * Regularly utilizes Microsoft Office products, PDF's, and various software to complete tasks. * Performs other related duties as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS * Full-time student enrolled in a construction-related degree, or a combination of training and experience that provides sufficient construction knowledge to perform essential functions. * Ability to quickly analyze, interpret, and compare detailed and often inadequately defined information. * Ability to make reliable and accurate conclusions based on information gathered. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
