Position Summary The Developer - IT Systems & Integration is responsible for the design, development, configuration, and optimization of technology solutions that enhance business performance and data integration across the organization. This role focuses on automating workflows, improving analytics, and integrating systems, particularly Salesforce, Power BI, Applied Epic, and Microsoft 365/Shared Services to support the agency's growth, innovation, and digital transformation goals. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of development expertise, business acumen, and problem-solving skills to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities System Development & Integration Design, develop, and implement custom applications, integrations, and automation solutions across Salesforce, Applied Epic, Power BI, and Microsoft platforms. Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and interfaces to ensure seamless communication between core business systems. Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics models in Power BI to support data-driven decision-making. Technical Support & Maintenance Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, integrations, and data flows. Maintain documentation for all development projects, integrations, and configuration changes. Collaborate with IT operations and business teams to resolve system issues and implement enhancements. Ensure all development follows security, compliance, and best practice standards. Collaboration & Innovation Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions. Partner with leadership to identify automation opportunities and improve system efficiency. Participate in technology roadmap planning and digital transformation initiatives. Stay current with new technologies, tools, and methods to recommend innovative improvements. Soft Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in application development, system integration, or IT configuration roles. Experience in insurance or financial services industries preferred. Proficiency in Salesforce development and configuration (Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, APIs). Strong experience building Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports. Familiarity with Applied Epic system configuration and data structures (preferred). Experience with Microsoft 365 / Power Platform (Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, etc.). Knowledge of SQL, data transformation tools, and API integration frameworks.
