Job Purpose: Bring your passion for sales to a dynamic team! The Home Care Marketing Liaison is a performance-based healthcare sales position that generates referral sources from an assigned territory. Primary referral sources include hospitals, physicians, senior retirement communities, skilled nursing facilities, and the community at large.
Job Responsibilities:
Generate referrals for home health by building relationships with physicians, long-term care, independent and assisted living facilities, and other community resources.
Initiates sales by building new relationships, retaining current, qualifying potential, and scheduling appointments.
Closes sales by overcoming objections and preparing contracts.
Identifies needs to be filled; monitors competitive companies; analyzes and relays customer reactions.
Communicates effectiveness of the marketing print materials, social media, and website.
Acts as a client advocate in complex service delivery systems and maintains an open line of communication for at-risk seniors and their caregivers to ensure good customer relations and to watch over system efficiency and protocols.
Supervises ongoing community relations projects and develops appropriate problem-solving actions
Coordinates with all departments of the Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Physician Offices, and all other subsidiaries of Health Services on projects that enhance staff, patient, and community relations
Performs all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory
Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships
Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel
Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits, and trends
Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas
Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, email, TV, etc.)
Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
Performs other related duties as required
Experience and Education
Must be 21 years of age with an HS diploma and /or Associates Degree in Human Services, Marketing, Business, or Nursing.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in home health or hospice sales or a related industry with a proven record of achieving incremental growth in direct sales.
Skill in interpersonal and both verbal and written communication.
The ideal candidate will have established healthcare contacts and be able to network in the community readily
Self-starter, goal-oriented, positive attitude, leadership skills, and teamwork skills. Performs assigned duties with minimum personal supervision from management.
