BAYADA RBT Academy provides: A 40+ hour paid training program to prepare you to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Receive high-quality training grounded in evidence-based practices in adult learning and applied behavior analysis including: BAYADA University web-based courses Live lectures Hands-on training and structured observation BAYADA study guides to prepare you for the RBT exam How You'll Make an Impact: RBTs work with individuals with Autism and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) to reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence and individuality. Our Maui Behavior Analysis Team provides care in various settings throughout Maui. Work in our center/clinic, in clients' homes, and in the community. Work directly with clients and follow the established treatment plan Establish and maintain relationships with clients, families, and pre-school staff Implement behavior therapy techniques Document interventions and progress towards goals Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the client acquire and maintain skills and to help meet identified goals Work in a school-based setting working for local school districts on Maui. Work directly with students in the classroom, following the established service plan Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams.
