Responsibilities
* May ride the bus to and from school with patient
* Address students medical needs to allow them to attend school in a traditional setting and make progress towards their educational goals
* Assist with redirection of behaviors and ensure student safety
* Support students by reviewing and following their school IEP and BIPs
* Assistance with personal care activities such as toileting
* Takes and records oral and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered
* Assists with mobility, positioning, transfers, and using transfer/mobility devices as applicable
Requirements:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Experience acting as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
* Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills preferred
* Computer proficiency preferred
* Successful completion of background screening and onboarding process required
* Successful completion of Maxim Orientation and Compliance training, and all other assigned trainings as applicable required
* Successful completion of Maxim's Competency Program required
* Proficiency in the English language required
* Current certificate as applicable per state and / or client requirement
