Greet all visitors and answer incoming calls in a pleasant and proper manner with a welcoming demeanor and direct them to the appropriate person or department.

Personal calls and personal texting need to occur only in an emergency situation while in the office.
Assure that cases are staffed with appropriately credentialed staff and within established time frames.
Complete documentation timely (paper and automated system).
Provide appropriate notification of schedules to employee, client, or outside business.
Monitor overtime which must have prior approval from supervisor.
Rotate with other HSM's being on call during non-office hours and handle those functions effectively.
Personally fulfill in-home staffing needs as required or requested. Render hands on care.
Verify the required staffing services are rendered each day/week according to the Plan of Care/ACS.
Assure the completion of all clerical functions such as the proper filing of timesheets, data entry, etc.
Assist in the review timesheets to ensure accurate services were provided.
Familiarize self to client and staff charts so documentation can be located upon request.
Plan, direct, and participate in recruitment and retention functions.
Accept and review applications, run proper checks, interview applicants, and input into the system.
Provides direction to field staff and communicates with supervisors as needed to assure safe and effective coverage of client needs.
Assign fully screened agency staff to clients as directed by the care plan and service request.
Assure employees receive complete and accurate directions and information about client needs.
Notify client of staffing changes and monitor employee performance in areas of dependability, responsiveness, timeliness, and client concerns. Respect Patient Bill of Rights.
Carry out the evaluation and performance review of field staff.
Utilize Call Logs daily and when on call and maintain according to policy.

Maintain adequate numbers of available on-call staff.
Keep nursing staff apprised of any changes in clients conditions / needs / or request.
Provide consultation and disciplinary action paired with required documentation when warranted.
Monitor and assist in managing all in-service needs and requirements for staff.
Responsible to alert staff regarding the need for any and all personnel file items. Maintain all time sensitive information in an up to date form and information kept in employee files and entered into the computer system.
Maintain the On Call book with complete and accurate information.
Maintain confidentiality and safeguard all patient information.
Respect the confidentiality of information in both client and employee records.
Share information in accordance with agency policies.
Perform duties in compliance with state / federal laws and in accordance with AHS policies and procedures.
Attend meetings and educational programs as required.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Operate one or several types of power construction equipment including but not limited to motor-graders, bulldozers, rubber tire backhoes or trackhoes, rollers, articulated dump truck drivers, front-end loaders or hydraulic excavators to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete, asphalt, or other hard surface pavement on road beds, parking lots, airport runways and taxiways. Will perform minor repairs and maintain equipment in addition to other duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1.) Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials, using trucks, power cranes, shovels, or related equipment.
2.) Start machine, engage clutch, and push and move levers, switches, and pedals to guide machine along forms or guidelines and to control the operation of machine attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, or swing booms.
3.) Drive and maneuver equipment equipped with blades in successive passes over working areas to remove topsoil, vegetation, or rocks or to distribute and level earth or terrain.
4.) Operate machinery to spread, smooth, level, stone, concrete, or asphalt on road beds or other job sites as needed.
5.) Operate tamping machines or manually roll surfaces to compact earth fills, foundation forms, and finished road materials, according to grade specifications.
6.) Observe grade in order to adjust machine settings to correct uneven areas such as high or low areas where material may need to be added or cut.
7.) Conduct documented pre-shift inspections of equipment for safety and mechanical defects in accordance with company TPR standards.
8.) Work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customers including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year.
9.) Align machines, cutter heads, buckets or depth gauge markers with reference stakes and guidelines or ground or position equipment, following hand signals of other workers.
10.) Coordinate machine actions with other activities or trucks by positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
11.) Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment, using mechanics' hand tools. Conduct pre-shift inspections and report any concerns or malfunctions to supervisors.
12.) Learn and follow safety regulations and be held responsible for at-fault accidents.
13.) Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
14.) Perform necessary work while complying with all company policies and procedures as well as any other regulatory authority (i.e. OSHA, MSHA, etc.)
15.) Perform additional duties as required or directed by their immediate supervisor or other manager.
16.) From time to time will perform general labor duties such as shoveling, raking, climbing inclines, as well as lifting, carrying, and loading materials on uneven terrain.

Work Experience:

Work involves various facets of food preparation and the serving process.
Education and Experience
* Graduation from high school.
* Sufficient education to read at level of written materials and make arithmetic calculations with considerable experience in quantity food preparation.

Possession of a valid TB test and health examination issued by the local county board of health or recognized medical authority
Essential Functions/Typical Tasks
* Maintains a positive working relationship with other employees and staff

Physical Requirements
The major physical and cognitive requirements listed below are applicable to the Cafeteria Assistant/Temporary/Substitute job classification within the School Nutrition Department of Craven County Schools. Work in this classification is considered medium physical work requiring the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 30 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
