Most of my coworkers are great to work with.
Favoritism galore, team leads, managers and senior management over the patient financial services area is awful
benefits
CEO and management don't give the patient financial services division the time of day. All they do is pile on more and more work. 6 billion dollars collected last year and the bonus was a slap in the face, pay raises suck
Clean house starting from CEO down. All women run company and all they are interested in is having a title and wanting 'to be somebody'
You don't need to prepare for their interview, its a regular interview and they only act like they know what they are talking about
Baycare pay is awful, the workload is crazy and the pay is not enough for what you have to do.
pay day and quitting time
typical day for this position is getting all dirty trays from your assigned floor, delivering trays to patients, going to each room to order breaskfast/lunch/dinner, doing kitchen chores, stocking all nourishment rooms on your assigned floor, cleaning the kitchen and carts. management (specifically the 2 supervisors) are aggressive, not helpful or don't take your concerns seriously, love to micromanage, never worked as a food host and believe everything has to be perfect, has favoritism, non empathetic, keep track of all wrong doings even during training, doesn't answer questions. the coordinators hate their jobs, tries too hard to please the 2 supervisor by throwing the food host under the bus, micro manages, bullies people, gaslight people, has favoritism with people leaving early or eating food from the trayline, doesn't allow the food host to get help but requires you to help on the trayline, mis scan tickets to make it seem as if the deliveries are an hour late, etc. if you do get hired please ask to go to the b team, the coordinator is vibrant and funny and respectful. the team is upbeat and the aura is light hearted. when I got there people immediately told me the management and coordinators are racist towards black females, they always end up quitting or getting fired or transferring to another department. the culture specifically in the kitchen is "lets complaint and gossip about everyone but take no action to make a difference". the food host that are bullied and been there for 2-10 years are too afraid to report their concerns to HR BUT they will try to force new hires to do that for them. the hardest part of the job is working the 730am to 730 pm shift & 830 am to 830 pm shift because you're always 1-2 hours behind of the people working 630 shift. however the coordinators/management still expects you to be on time with the 630 pm shift. the other hard part is during training or the 3 month probationary period they expect you to have literally 0 late trays even though you're learning and new. id say if you're a black female don't come here and/or if you're kind, a hardworker, AND attractive please don't work here. it may sound silly but its 95% females in the kitchen and they all have a jealousy problem. to the point I had male dishwashers or cooks and even males outside of my department telling me how jealous they are of my b lack skin, my body, my hair and the attentive id get from malees. which I wasn't even aware of. the shifts are 12 hours
if you do get hired please ask to go to the b team, the coordinator is vibrant and funny and respectful. the team is upbeat and the aura is light hearted.
tuition reimbursement
ceo didnt make any difference in my position and the leadership were extremely toxic
id hire new coordinators and management, people that are ethnically diverse and has experience as a cook or dishwasher or food host, very empathetic and knowledgable people
i went to the hiring event
very low pay of $15 for alot a lot a lot of work and pressure. its not worth it, a lot of new hires quit because of this
i was literally the only black female in the entire food and nutrition department. it was very uncomfortable because I ran into racist people
the b team
High standard of care.
Administration continues to request more be done by staff whilst reducing our staffing. Seems like greed is taking its hold on another good company.
12hr shift; Plenty of overtime
Medical billing coding
nothing
cultural, wok life balance, flexibility, hours, advancement
I love the family feeling.
Pushing their agenda on employees
I work with a knowledgeable team that are like family.
The ability to advance in my career. Education promotion. Teamwork. Patient centered care.
nothing
tuition assistance
The integrity of the organization. How they treat team members.
Fortunately I like everything. I want to be closer to my adult children is why I want to move.
