Computed Tomography Sales Consultant - (Phoenix, AZ)
PURPOSE
The Computed Tomography Sales Consultant is responsible for driving revenue growth and market share for Bayer's computed tomography (CT) and cardiovascular (CV) portfolio, including injectors, contrast media, and related software and workflow solutions. They generate demand for the CT / CV portfolio by leveraging territory knowledge, strong customer relationships, and consultative expertise across systems, stakeholders, and contracts. The role involves developing deep relationships with radiology stakeholders, imaging managers, procurement leaders, and IT and biomed teams, while effectively navigating health system decision-making processes and engaging the broader Radiology ecosystem (including suites, OEMs, service hubs, radiologists, and system integrators).
The Computed Tomography Sales Consultant sells, coordinates, and promotes products and services, while mentoring internal teams and leading impactful sales and marketing presentations. They ensure customer success by delivering clinical and operational economic value aligned with key customer priorities, coordinating resources across Bayer's cross-functional teams, and embedding the Radiology Customer Engagement Plan (CEP) under the Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) model.
The span of coverage will be from Phoenix, AZ, covering south into Tucson, and into New Mexico, covering south towards Juarez and north past Albuquerque and Santa Fe.The candidate is preferred to reside in the Phoenix, AZ area as that is the center of the territory. The Candidate must be domiciled within the territory.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Achieve sales and revenue targets for the Computed Tomography portfolio within assigned accounts and territory;
* Build strong relationships with radiology leaders, CT technologists, procurement, and Value Analysis Committees to expand Bayer's CT presence to promote Bayer Radiology products/services/solutions to exceed sales goals;
* Identify key decision-makers and navigate complex buying processes across systems and accounts to build Bayer sphere of influence within the account;
* Develop and execute a territory business plan that identifies key accounts, stakeholders, and growth opportunities by establishing clear goals and resource allocation (coverage, sampling, grants, education);
* Partner and proactively communicate with account managers (National Account Managers (NAMs), Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) and Account Managers (AMs), working accountably to their delivery on activities) and cross-functional colleagues (Service, Clinical, Medical) to integrate CT solutions into strategic accounts;
* Generate quotes and support the proposal process in alignment with SAMs/AMs to ensure consistency and compliance;
* Collaborate with Computed Tomography and MR roles in shared accounts with clear differentiation from MR counterparts, as the CTSC is expected to bring an engineering/technical orientation distinct from the molecule/clinical science focus of the MR role;
* Proactively communicate insights with SAMs and Ams;
* Utilize enterprise value selling (EVS) tools and business insights to support customer needs and drive value;
* Ensure strong customer relationship management (CRM) discipline by maintaining accurate pipeline data, documenting key stakeholders, logging activities, and leveraging sales reports to inform territory strategy;
* Act as a proactive business partner to Customer Squad team, sharing insights on customer trends internally and contribute toward strategic account plans;
* Provide complete reports on sales, market activity, and technical inquiries to leadership;
* Deliver value-focused, insight-driven presentations tailored to CT workflow and outcomes based on deep technical and clinical understanding of CT workflows across the suite;
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, communicating insights to leadership;
* Leverage data and reporting to make strategic decisions/accountability and consistency in capturing and managing product pipeline;
* Ensure seamless sales handoff and connectivity at initial stages to downstream support teams (service, clinical, medical, etc.) to maintain continuity of customer experience;
* Ensure compliance with Bayer policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all engagements;
* Manage resources effectively, including expense reporting, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulation.

PURPOSE
The Institutional and Specialty Sales (ISS) team is being established to lead and drive launch activities for indications within the CVR portfolio. Responsibilities include driving demand, clinical education and sales by developing, coordinating, and implementing a strategic business plan for top priority Institutions (i.e., Hospitals and Health Systems), Cardiologists and Nephrologists both in the Institutional and Community settings. The Senior Specialist, Senior Buyer will report to the Associate Director, Procurement, and will maintain strong alignment to the pharmaceutical operations network strategy and initiatives. The MVHIT will support and educate accounts using MAC-approved materials related to Electronic Health Records (EHR) supporting multiple therapeutic areas of interest to Amgen. They will advise the director and senior manage with the development of the strategy, messaging, tools, & resources to harness the organized potential of IDN's and/or health systems within the EHR space. This is an enterprise role working across all 4 prioritized Therapeutic Areas of Interest: Cardiology, Renal, and Metabolic (CRM), Oncology, Immunology, and Neurosciences. The main focus of this role is to educate these customers about health information technology (HIT) systems, including electronic health records (EHR), to enhance diagnosis, treatment, and patient management with tools that enable, for example, clinical workflows, patient stratification, and patient activation and outcomes at the point of care.
* Work with cross-functional medical and commercial account teams to gather EHR customer insights and assess opportunities
* Manage the customer accounts prioritization process for the MV Health IT Liaisons

What You'll Work On:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, power systems, lighting, control systems, and PLC logic for production processes.
Work with electrical power (24V-600V), automation controllers, VFDs, sensors, and inspection devices.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and instruments.
Use tools and instruments such as voltage testers, ammeters, oscilloscopes, vibration analyzers, and laser measurement equipment.
Lead and train team members; document and communicate shift activities clearly.
Support plant operations across packaging, processing, filling, warehouse, and facilities.
Respond to equipment emergencies, troubleshoot I/O systems, and communicate with production teams to minimize downtime.
Participate in electrical upgrades and monitor contractor work.
Maintain compliance with FDA, OSHA, and company policies.
Stay current with advancing technology through training and vendor programs.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
Knowledge of electricity, electrical theory, PLCs, and pneumatic systems
Ability to work safely in electrical panels up to 480 volts
Proficiency in reading schematics and wiring diagrams
Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualification
Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field

In this vital role you will provide logistical, non-medical educational assistance to patients and caregivers as well as office and site of care staff, including physicians, nurses, office managers and executives. Strong knowledge and demonstrated history of access and
reimbursement for buy and bill/infused pharmaceutical products is required. The PAL works in highly visible, strong team environment to provide exceptional customer service on all levels. The PAL will work with the patient, the physician and the Site of Care to educate on next steps required to gain
access to therapy. The PAL will also work to maintain relationships with patients and families, and by extension physicians and their staff and cross-functional partners to support ongoing compliance with therapy. The PAL will work with numerous internal teams, including Market Access, Medical Affairs,
Advocacy, Marketing, and Site of Care to facilitate and improve patient access to insurance, medications, financial support, resources and more.
* Secure written or electronic patient HIPAA for patients in the assigned geography
* Develop relationships with patients and caregivers by engaging via phone, text, email, virtual or in person connections
* Assess individual needs of the patient and develop an appropriate education and resource plan of action, considering the patient's family and team of healthcare providers to empower the patient to become their own advocate
* Educate the patient on UPLIZNA coverage based on their benefits and the steps needed to gain prior authorization to ensure understanding of the process for medication access
* Provide information on co-pay assistance programs, national foundations, and free drug programs by sharing information to patients as appropriate and needed
* Provide proactive education to prescribers and sites of care upon patient enrollment on coverage for Horizon rare disease therapies, common prior authorization requirements, and coding and billings requirements
* Provide access and reimbursement education based on the enrolled patient's UPLIZNA benefits to physician offices and sites of care
* Educate the physician office and/or SOC on UPLIZNA coverage based on the patient's benefits and the steps needed to gain prior authorization to ensure understanding of the process for medication access
* Investigate access challenges pre and post-infusion to include support for denied claims and claim reviews
* Partner with Safety and PV and report AE's and product complaints through medical information.
* Work closely with the Horizon cross functional team including Case Managers, the Site of Care team, market access, matrix partners and external vendors
* Adhere to professional standards compliance guidance, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements
