    **$20,000 Sign-on Bonus** Under the direction of the radiologist and the supervision of the manager or supervisor, the MR Technologist is responsible for the performance of high-quality diagnostic images utilizing proper technique and established protocols. The mammography technologists perform screening and diagnostic imaging, mammography guided procedures, specimen imaging, and bone density scanning in accordance with the American College of Radiology's appropriateness criteria, or by protocols developed and agreed upon by physician leadership and maintains annual competencies in those areas of imaging. This position is responsible for performing quality mammography procedures, maintaining accurate records and documenting in the EMR, maintaining a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members including breast radiologists and breast surgical practice, quality assurance/quality control required for FDA/ACR, working effectively with patients and families to provide patient care, complies with infection prevention procedures, student education, orientation of new employees, ensures operation of mammography equipment by adhering to standard operating procedures and by troubleshooting and reporting malfunctions to leadership, assists clerical staff in the maintenance of records and files, maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, and other duties as assigned. Must have strong verbal and organizational skills and be able to interact with patients in a fast-paced environment. Travel to additional locations may be required. Mammography certification is required within 12 months of employment within this modality. This position is required to meet the minimum continuing educational requirements established by the state of Ohio and is required to maintain ARRT and ODH licensure.
