Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT hybrid procedures in the hospital in accordance with all state and NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulations, and utilizing an understanding of principles of growth and development to provide the physician with diagnostic images to identify and/or plan appropriate treatment of the patient's condition. Maintains and operates cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images. Positions patients. Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear radiologic studies in adherence to professional and department protocols. Qualifications Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board CNMT (NMTCB)(CT) or R.T.(N)(CT) (ARRT). CT Advanced certification by ARRT required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required 2 years nuclear Tech PET/CT, and SPECT/CT preferred. We take great care of careers.
