Responsibilities
Answer inbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and document customer issues in detail.
Provide technical guidance for installation and configuration of our products.
Support both individual customers and professional auto shops.
Use our Shopify-based platform to update customer records and input order details.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, automotive electronics, or a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to handle both hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication skills with 100% English fluency.
Reliable high-speed internet connection, laptop, and mobile phone.
Familiarity with automotive systems and comfort with diagnosing software issues.
Eagerness to learn our product line inside and out (comprehensive training provided).
Position Details & Compensation
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET, plus 2 Saturdays per month (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM ET).
Salary: $80,000 USD annually, with opportunities for performance-based growth and bonuses.

Physical Requirements

Work requires frequent moving from one area to another, answering pages, and coordinating and communicating with other staff persons in various disciplines and agencies. May be required to use company vehicles depending on location and may transport clients to placement when appropriate to facilitate the transition.
Education, Experience and Certifications.
High School diploma or GED required.Bachelor's degree in a relevant human services field preferred (such as social work or psychology). Successful completion of Certified Peer Support Training Program within 6 months of hire. Maintains peer support certificate per state standards. CPI and CPR required on a yearly basis for those working on an inpatient unit. Previous personal experience with the treatment of psychiatric illness is preferred.Previous experience working with the SPMI population preferred. Must have good therapeutic communication skills. Ability and willingness to work as a team member. Must have good communication skills and the ability to read and write. Must have computer skills sufficient to document in an electronic medical record. If driving is required by department the defensive driving class is required to be completed annually.

Position Overview

Review referrals for The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) Formerly Incarcerated Transition (FIT) program and determine the eligibility of participants based on program requirements.
Assist individuals with linkage to, and enrollment into, primary care services, substance use disorder treatment, and mental health services.
Conduct periodic assessments of an individual's substance use, physical activity, dietary habits, tobacco use, and social and economic resources.
Provide or arrange transportation for ambulatory patients between their homes and clinics, hospitals, or other social agencies when appropriate and necessary.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
The primary purpose of this position is to serve individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) who are being released from a DAC (Department of Adult Corrections) facility and will be prioritized for re-entry coordination by both DAC and the applicable LME/MCO. This position will ensure communication between all parties, including DAC and related divisions (health services, re-entry, community supervision) and community behavioral and physical health providers. The Justice Reentry Peer Support Specialist will coordinate and work parallel with the Justice Reentry Coordinator to ensure referrals are made to all necessary services including medication management, housing support, other social determinants of health needs, behavioral and physical healthcare, and benefits coordination. The Peer Support Specialist will assist with any follow up needs and coordination of services with individuals participating in the DAC Community Reentry Program. Referrals will be made by DAC Social Workers directly to the Justice Reentry Coordinator and Peer Support staff approximately 90 days prior to release from incarceration.
This position will allow Local Management Entities/Managed Care Organizations (LME/MCOs) to interact with individuals with severe mental illness (SMI) who are within 90-days of releasing from a DAC (Division of Adult Corrections) Facility earlier on in the discharge planning process in an effort to better support positive outcomes upon their release from prison. This position will be responsible for providing case management and assistance to individuals referred in the process. The Justice Reentry Peer Support Specialist will follow an individual indefinitely or until they qualify for tailored care management or other service providing a TCM equivalent, such as Assertive Community Treatment. The initial time period for this service will be ninety (90) days with the option to continue until needs are met as noted above.
This position will promote an efficient, clinically sound, and person-centered approach to supporting individuals through this process. Contact with community stakeholders is significant and the Peer Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring a high level of quality in customer service, including strong collaborative relationships with providers and key stakeholders (e.g. DAC, Hospitals, DSS, ACHs, behavioral health and physical health providers, internal departments, and natural supports).
This is a mobile position with work done in a variety of locations. The PSS staff spends a considerable amount of time in the field and completes required documentation/paperwork at an office location or in the employee's home (as applicable).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Managed Care Treatment Planning and Care Coordination:
Possess knowledge of the needs of individuals with a mental illness, and substance use/addiction disorders and effectively work with all individuals with respect on a level that they can understand and relate to
Ensures all State mandated tasks related to Dispositions and discharge are completed within benchmark timeframes
Ensures timely and thorough documentation of all efforts, both individual-specific and programmatically, as requested by Supervisor
Coordinates with key providers and others in a collaborative approach to address needs of the individual and ensure appropriate treatment planning and evaluation
Promotes person centered practices, including use of person-centered language and person-centered tools in planning
Identifies gaps in services and intervenes to ensure that the individual receives appropriate care and discharge planning.

Ensures that services for the individual are coordinated across the Vaya Health system and with other systems, including primary care. Refers to other specialists for timely assessment as clinically indicated

This is a mobile based position which primarily occurs during normal business hours. GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
Under the supervision of the Peer Support Specialist Manager, the Peer Support Specialist function is in-reach, engagement, education and support effort designed to accurately and fully inform adults who have serious mental illness (SMI) or a serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) about community based mental health services and supported housing options including but not limited to the availability of tenancy support services and rental assistance.
Peer Support Specialist in-reach is ongoing with the goal of educating members/recipients about all community-based options, including the option to transition to supported housing, its benefits, the array of services and supports available to those in supported housing to include rental subsidy and other assistance members/recipients may need. In-reach also includes informing members/recipients about Medicaid, Special Assistance, services under the North Carolina State Plan for Medical Assistance or the State funded service array for which the members/recipients are eligible.
Peer Support Specialist in-reach also includes offering the members/recipients opportunities to meet with other members/recipients with disabilities who are living, working, and receiving services in inclusive settings.
Note: This position requires access to and use of confidential healthcare information or protected health information (PHI) as described in laws addressing patient confidentiality, including, but not limited to, the federal HIPAA law, the Confidentiality of Alcohol and Substance Use Patient Records law, 42 CFR Part 2, and various state laws. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Benchmarks:
Peer Support Specialist In-Reach
Must make minimum in-reach visits per day to meet weekly visit requirements.
Must meet minimum requirements per In Reach, Transition, Diversion policy for potential transition participants per month.
Must make minimum requirements for completion of the Informed Decision-Making Tool per month
Ensure adherence to boundaries within In Reach, Transition, Diversion policy and do not provide services or supports outside of the scope of work.
Monitoring
Must maintain caseload (In-Reach List) by ensuring every person has a Peer Support Specialist visit prior to reaching 90 days. Frequency of ivisits can vary within 90 days based on readiness for transition.
Will communicate with manager any upcoming events (if known) that may impact minimum requirements and will propose an alternative plan to ensure that requirements are met.
Peer Support Specialist In-Reach activities:
The LME-MCO shall provide In-Reach services to applicable members/recipients no less than quarterly. Peer Support Specialist may need to occur more frequently based on the housing situation of the member/recipient. It is required that Peer Support Specialist activities be delivered by LME-MCO staff that are knowledgeable about community services and supports, including supported housing.
The LME-MCO Peer Support staff is expected to coordinate a face-to-face meeting with members/recipients and guardians as applicable to determine a member/recipient's interest in integrated supported housing with tenancy rights and behavioral health services. Peer Support Specialist staff should make every effort to schedule visits during a time that is convenient for both the member/recipient and facility.
Activities include but are not limited to:
Assessing member/recipient's interest in supported housing
Explaining fully the benefits and financial aspects of clinically appropriate community based inclusive settings, including supported housing
Facilitating and accompanying member/recipient on site visits to permanent housing with tenancy rights
Exploring and addressing the concerns of any member/recipient who declines the opportunity to move into supported housing or who are ambivalent about moving into supported housing, despite being qualified for such housing
Reviewing housing preferences
Provide linkage to ongoing in-reach as a step-in education/exposure to the housing options and supports available
Educating member/recipient about services covered under the North Carolina State Plan for Medical Assistance, Medicaid 1915(b)(c) waiver, or the State funded service array
Documentation and Reporting:
All Peer Support Specialist activities should be documented and outcomes of in-reach efforts tracked to include refusals to meet with LME-MCO as well as lack of response to LME-MCO written communication about in-reach by the member/recipient or guardian. All documentation related to Peer Support Specialist in-reach should be made available to the State upon request.
Peer Support Specialist staff will participate in all necessary activities at the NC state level. The activities will include training, information sessions, and committees related to Transitions to Community Living Initiative.
Coordination planning:
Peer Support Specialist staff will work in close coordination with other Vaya staff, including but not limited to Transition Coordinators, care management, and other Vaya departments to ensure smooth transitions occur and challenges and barriers to transition are addressed timely.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
General knowledge of the methods and principles of recovery and person-centered thinking is needed. Having good customer service skills are essential. The ability to establish appropriate and respectful relationships/partnerships with persons with a wide range of disabilities and their families. Includes the ability to interact professionally and effectively with persons who are upset and who disagree. Building trust, establishing rapport and using good communication skills are key for this position. Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and policies which govern human services is helpful. Knowledge about Medicaid and Special Assistance benefits, available clinical services, community supports, and supported housing is necessary. Is able to express ideas clearly and concisely orally and in writing. The ability to work effectively as a team member and under the direction of the Peer Support Specialist Manager. Additional training is required, which can be obtained after hire, in the following skills set: Assertive Engagement, Motivational Interviewing, Active Listening Skills, RENEW Transition Model, and other relevant methods of engagement.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED is required for this position and 1-2 years of experience working with the MH/SU population.

The Support Specialist I - Onsite position is responsible for technical and administrative support and training related to network and computer systems. The position supports both internal and external users with Vaya Health hardware and software. Working from the Ridgefield location, the specialist will also travel to remote sites as needed to provide hands-on support. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with policies, procedures, and under direction of the supervisor, ensuring all Vaya employees have the tools needed for their work and that Vaya's technology assets remain secure and operational.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
User Support:
Provide onsite and remote technology support to staff, contractors, and visitors using Vaya-issued equipment (laptops, MiFis, printers, scanners). Support software and applications including Microsoft 365 suite, Microsoft Teams, Adobe, and other approved tools. Execute tasks and technical projects assigned by Service Desk Manager, or ISD Leadership
Provide support for all information security related issues and policies such as incident research, incident escalation and informational support
Respond to support requests within the appropriate Service Level Agreement, perform detailed assessment of support requests prior to escalation. This shall include user information, computer/device information, description of issue, indication of ability to replicate issue and a list of troubleshooting steps taken prior to escalation
Coordinate user access to systems (e.g., password resets, account unlocks).Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support. Travel to Vaya remote locations for deployment, support, or troubleshooting needs.
Service Desk:
Utilize current help desk application to enter, track, update and maintain all user support requests (tickets). Follow established SOP's when communicating with staff, vendors, contractors and stakeholders and when escalating or closing tickets
Answer phone calls from internal and external users as presented in the round-robin call queue
Maintain physical inventory of technology assets and assist with deployment and returns. Comply with departmental SOPs, policies, and contribute to their ongoing improvement. Communicate regularly with ISD peers and leadership to ensure timely updates and escalations. Provide accurate information to support leadership requests or inquiries
Stay up to date on technologies and systems in use at Vaya. Prioritize and manage workload effectively across multiple tasks.
