Bazaarvoice is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Account Director (AAD) to join our high-performing Enterprise sales organization. This pivotal supporting role acts as a force multiplier for our most senior Account Directors (ADs) who manage complex, high-value House of Brands (HoB) accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and maximizing customer retention within some of our top customer accounts. This will include expertly managing smaller-dollar renewals, selling smaller dollar contracts, and handling paperwork questions and revisions.What You'll Do: Drive Retention and Operational Excellence As an Associate Account Director, your core mission is to enable senior sellers to focus on strategic growth and new revenue by owning critical retention and administrative processes. Own Small-Dollar Renewal Pipeline: Directly manage the full renewal sales cycle for a dedicated portfolio of smaller-sized contracts. This includes timely outreach, negotiation of terms, and contract closure, ensuring zero churn in this segment. Contract and Administrative Support: Act as the primary internal resource for senior Account Directors, taking ownership of all routine operational tasks related to amendments, bookings, and transactional contract modifications. Customer Operational Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for routine customer inquiries related to billing, basic contract questions, and operational support for our Enterprise HoB customers. Support Account Strategy: Collaborate closely with senior ADs to assist with strategic tasks, including preparing renewal forecasts for the small-dollar segment, assisting with multi-threading and account mapping documentation, and gathering necessary data to support strategic presentations. Book Meetings: Prospect into net new contacts in your assigned customer base, uncovering new opportunities to expand our partnership with these accounts. Maintain Install Base Health: Proactively monitor customer health metrics for assigned accounts, flagging potential risks related to renewals or usage to the senior AD and Client Success team. System Mastery: Become fluent in using our CRM (Salesforce) and pricing tools to ensure meticulous pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and complete adherence to all internal sales processes. What You'll Bring Foundational Sales and Execution Skills. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and eager to build a career in Enterprise SaaS sales. Experience: 1-4 years of professional experience in an account support, inside sales, sales development, or account management role within a B2B SaaS environment. Process & Detail Orientation: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, execute complex administrative processes flawlessly, and maintain exceptional attention to detail in contract management. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting directly with clients via phone and email to resolve operational issues and manage the renewal process. Technical Fluency: Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce highly preferred) and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
