Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

Testing: Engineering technicians must be able to perform field and laboratory testing of soil, stone, concrete, grout, masonry, and other construction materials in accordance with ASTM standards. Physical Requirements Lifting:
Must be able to lift, load and unload soil, sand, asphalt, CMU, and concrete samples weighing up to 100 pounds.
Concrete Sampling and Testing: Must be able to maneuver a 6-cubic foot wheelbarrow loaded with 150-200 pounds of fresh concrete for up to 50 yards over uneven ground.
Unit weight testing requires lifting a 50-pound container of concrete. Six-inch compressive strength test cylinders weigh 30 pounds each.
Volumetric air content testing requires repeated swinging of the 30-pound concrete-filled test device from knee-level to head-level.
Soil Density Testing: The technician must be able to repeatedly drop a 25-pound drop slide hammer to drive sampling tubes into the ground and then manually excavate the sampling tubes back out of the ground with mattock and shovel.
Must be able to load and unload a 90-pound case containing a nuclear density gauge and carry the 50-pound nuclear density gauge by hand for up to 50 yards over uneven ground.
Hand Auger and Penetrometer: Must be able to manually hand auger down to 10 feet into soil to obtain samples and perform portable dynamic cone penetrometer testing. The hand auger may require up to 50 pounds of pull to remove it from wet soil conditions. The total weight of the dynamic cone penetrometer ranges from 20 to 40 pounds. Operation of the penetrometer requires repeated raising and dropping of the 15 pound slide weight.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years experience using CADD in the preparation of design drawings, exhibits, and reports. Demonstrated experience working on land development projects using Autodesk Civil 3D software is required. Typical Duties:
Under moderate supervision of a Project Engineer or Project Manager conducts tasks of complexity varying from basic to somewhat complex.
Prepares routine design calculations and collects or prepares data for use by others in complex engineering analysis or studies.
Applies moderate exercise of judgment or decision making regarding design issues and concepts.
Responsible for preparation of project plans, exhibits, and reports and coordinates the work of other technicians as part of a project team.
May also prepare project specifications.
Prepares quantity estimates and cost estimates.
Proficient in the use of computer aided design tools for the preparation of construction plans, design considerations and quantity estimates.
Proficient in the use of CADD tools for the preparation of plans and exhibits and thoroughly understands and follows the company's graphic standards.
Ensures that work is being performed within the project schedule and budget.
Proficient in using and following company design standards.
Has minimal responsibility for client contact and coordination.
May prepare permit applications and bid packages.
May attend project meetings with clients, agencies or contractors.
Communicates project status to the Project Manager on a regular basis.
May provide input on the development and maintenance of CADD standards and details.
Provides input to Project Manager regarding project schedule.
Performs administrative tasks as necessary.
Other duties as necessary and/or assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements: Education: Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience. Skills:
Advanced knowledge of CADD and related design tools.
Advanced knowledge of Company graphic standards.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to visualize objects, distances, sizes and abstract forms.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Coordinates prototype builds in the Pilot Factory while keeping an eye on design for manufacturability issues.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
Responsible for full support equipment on Pilot Factory Floor. Hardware and Software.
Handle setups and changeover of equipment for prototype product builds.
Define and Perform scheduled equipment maintenance and maintain equipment history and documentation using PM software system and logs.
Works closely with process engineering to develop Process Specifications for new processes, ensure that new products are designed for assembly and to initiates design changes for cost effectiveness.
Works with other engineering disciplines and manufacturing to identify cost reduction opportunities.
Supports new products launch activities in other manufacturing locations as required.
Able to run simple designs of experiments to optimize processes or troubleshoot process variation.
Create and manage Visual Aid instructions.
Train factory personal on equipment operation and setup.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience and programming knowledge of SMT and Electronics assembly equipment such as: MPM Screen Printer, Koh Young SPI, Fuji Pick and Place, Heller Reflow, Matrix X-ray, Soltec Select and Wave Solder, PVA Conformal Coat, Router.
Thorough knowledge of electronics assembly processes and Mechanical assembly processes.
Knowledge in Machine capability analysis.
Knowledge of personal computers and networks.
Familiar with Windows O.S.
Excellent troubleshooting skills

The Manufacturing Engineer Technician performs various technical tasks associated with supporting manufacturing processes or equipment. Technical tasks include performance troubleshooting, gauge and instrumentation calibration, machine programming and problem diagnosis.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the calibration testing, set up, and repair of various controls, instruments and gauges measuring variables within the manufacturing process
Monitor equipment performance and adjusts setups, calibrations, and alignments
Help with the evaluation and diagnosis of root causes and may take immediate action to further resolve a problem
Identify opportunities for improvement and commonization
Work with facilities, operations, maintenance, and vendors to prepare for equipment installation

Job Requirements:
Technical degree preferred
