As a MedSurg RN, you will conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs. MedSurg RNs perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician. Documenting patient findings and providing education and support to patients' families is essential to this travel nurse position. Records, interprets, and calculates various types of data collected during the procedure. Maintains equipment, corrects equipment malfunctions and reports malfunctions for repair. Instructs technologists and others in the performance of technical procedures, operations of equipment, and collection and interpretation of data. Demonstrates knowledge of the proper operation of x-ray equipment used in the Cath Lab. Monitors and is responsible for quality assurance of the x-ray equipment. The candidate will cover a region of operation and handle multiple project sites, assisting Construction Superintendents. The candidate must have the ability to travel from site to site in their operational area.
