Position Overview
We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our corporate finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career accounting professionals to develop their skills in a fast-paced media environment while working with a collaborative team.
Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of accounting experience or an associate degree in accounting and are eager to grow their expertise in accounts payable and general ledger operations.
Primary ResponsibilitiesInvoice Management
Process and manage accounts payable invoices received through multiple channels (email, mail, and electronic systems)
Review invoices for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation
Verify coding and authorization prior to processing
Payment Processing
Ensure timely and accurate payment of all vendor invoices
Maintain payment schedules to optimize cash flow while meeting vendor terms
Process payment runs and coordinate check distributions
Accounting & Reconciliation
Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts in accordance with company policies
Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records
Support month-end close activities and assist with account reconciliations
Vendor Relations
Serve as primary contact for assigned vendors regarding invoice and payment inquiries
Proactively resolve payment discrepancies and disputes
Build strong vendor relationships to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
Collaborate with internal departments to address invoice questions and issues
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications
1-2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience, OR Associate degree in Accounting or related field
Fundamental understanding of accounts payable processes and workflows
Working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Understanding of how accounts payable transactions impact general ledger posting
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Job Title: Manager Promotions & Activations - Miami Radio
The Promotions & Activations Manager for Miami Radio reports directly to the Operations Director and oversees the Promotions Department. This role manages collaboration between sales, programming and digital content to create and execute events, contesting, sponsorships and marketing campaigns that drive revenue and/or listenership. The Promotions & Activations Manager manages a staff of [market-specific number here] full and part-time employees, who represent the stations in a B2B and B2C capacity.
Exceptional marketing, event planning, management, communication, leadership, analytical and digital skills are a requirement. Oversight of events and promotions will require working nights and weekends regularly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Promotions: General
Lead collaboration and brainstorm meetings across multiple departments to create, plan and execute promotions such as on-site promotional events, live broadcasts, concerts and digital marketing activation.
Collaborate with the sales department to generate creative promotional mechanisms and sponsorship opportunities for clients that fit the client's needs, but also support the ratings strategy and digital goals of each radio brand. Work directly with multiple internal teams (programming, sales and digital) to develop, manage and execute these multi-platform programs, with equal focus on clients and listeners.
Partner with Program Directors to develop radio brand events and promotions to engage and grow audience
Establish effective processes and planning meetings to ensure flawless execution of events and promotions
Hiring, training, developing and evaluating performance of Promotions & Activation Lead(s) and a team of 10-20 part-time Activation Specialists
Establish and foster strong relationships with local/regional concert and event venues, charities and community organizations and other partners
Oversee department expense budgets
Compose and create applications for various awards including but not limited to local and NAB awards
Promotions: Events and Equipment
Manage all major on-site promotions and events from ideation through on-site execution, leading the team of Activation Specialists and working with location staff, vendors, etc. to execute flawless events ranging from appearances at client locations to station-owned concerts and festivals
Work with the team to maintain all promotional equipment and vehicles
Create engaging and unique activations for the audience at hundreds of events each year
Promotions: Contesting/Sweepstakes Legal
Maintain updated legal guidelines, rules and releases for all contests and giveaways
Work directly with CMG legal department to create customized agreements and contest/sweepstakes rules, and legal documents as needed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (continued)
Promotions: Digital
Manage promotional content on websites and digital applications for all radio stations (content creation, upkeep, events calendar, contests, etc.)
Create, monitor and enforce company and cluster guidelines for promotions content and activation team posting on station social media pages
Train promotions staff on social media policies and best practices
Marketing/Branding/Publicity
Create, manage and enforce stations' brand guidelines and style guides
Manage marketing plans including media planning, creative direction, collaboration with outside agencies and/or media buyers
Recap effectiveness of all campaigns based on Nielsen data
Compose station press releases related to programming and promotional announcements and collaborate with CMG corporate on distribution
Serve as main media contact for programming and promotional press events
NTR (non-traditional revenue)
Create sales packages for all major event/NTR sponsorships, and work with sales to customize and pitch these sponsorships
Track all sponsorships, project manage the execution of sold sponsorships and maintain accurate tracking of NTR revenue
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years successful experience in promotions, marketing or event planning
Highly adaptable and professional
Ability to participate in high-level client and corporate meetings as well as relating to audiences of our distinct radio brands
Previous management or leadership experience
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and social media platforms
Proven ability to create, plan and implement multi-tiered marketing campaigns to achieve individual station ratings goals. Also monitor campaigns and recap to ensure the strategy was successful
Strong organizational, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
Able to multi-task in a high-speed environment
High work standards and degree of attention to detail
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays throughout the year
Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Prior experience in radio, television, agency, digital audio or media organization
Understanding of the Nielsen radio ratings system and data
Experience planning and executing large scale events
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other latest generation Final Cut Pro and After Effects programs is a plus

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Communication
* Deliver professional and effective customer service through phone, email, and written correspondence
* Answer AR department phone line as needed
* Process internal and external correspondence and mail with accuracy
* Support department initiatives that positively impact the revenue cycle
Collections Management
* Contact assigned client accounts via phone and email for collections following AR Manager's direction
* Utilize AR Manager-approved signature templates based on account aging
* Research contact information through available resources; conduct web-based skip tracing when necessary
* Coordinate with Account Executives and Sales Managers when client information is unavailable
* Work all accounts 30+ days past due on assigned worksheet
* Document all account activity with detailed notes and color-coded action tracking in Tesorio
* Escalate accounts to AR Manager when appropriate (90+ days for direct advertisers, 120+ days for agencies)
Payment Processing
* Process credit card payments by phone using approved credit card forms and forward to [email protected]
