I love the patients! The different departments have some great people and love feeling like I can help make a person walk away with a good feeling by helping them and a nice smile.
The executive management made changes to the pay that helped some, but hurt others, we still do not have the same pay as other hospitals in the surrounding area. The cost of living is very high in Beaufort county. The staff in the main registration area needs more training, more staff is required to ensure a good patient experience. All the management changes are causing problems for the good workers and those that won't work are still riding the coat tails of those who care simply because they have been there longer.
At this time BMH has no perks except a free membership to there gym that functions as a physical therapy area at the Business pavilion.
