Your Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years industrial equipment maintenance experience, experience with sawmill operations preferred
Proficient in understanding and working with mechanical systems and components commonly found in sawmills, such as conveyor systems, saws, kilns, and de-barkers
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
Skilled in welding and fabrication techniques for repairing and modifying equipment components
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose mechanical issues quickly and accurately
Ability to implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems commonly used in sawmill machinery
Ability to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot issues related to these systems.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and components associated with sawmill equipment. Knowledge of electrical safety practices and the ability to work alongside electricians when needed
Experience in implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of machinery

Class A CDL
Current Medical Certificate
Minimum of 1 year verifiable recent relevant experience
Provide a complete and accurate work history for previous 5 years
Must have no disqualifying MVR events or multiple violations / accidents
No more than 2 moving violations or accidents in the previous 3 years
