Essential Functions
Understand and follow CSI policies and procedures and assist with the following:
Managing document control and drawings
Obtaining necessary permits
Electrical take-offs and project estimating
Preparing submittals and shop drawings, and reviewing quoted items and commodities
Managing RFI logs and reviewing RFIs for cost impact
Managing POs, vendor tracking, and releases
Preparing project budgets for internal tracking and maintaining constant understanding of costs and
budget thresholds
Estimating small jobs and change orders, completing and maintaining change order estimates and
logs, and tracking and pricing EWOs
Working with the lighting department on an as-needed basis to manage light fixtures, controls, and
switchgear tracking logs
Working with the pre-fab department on an as-needed basis
Providing field foremen with information, material tracking, and other administrative functions
Summarizing and tracking time and material paperwork
Taking ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
Managing and tracking subcontractors
Preparing reports and schedule review for Project Reviews
Performing job closeouts and O&Ms
About You:
Qualifications
Estimating experience: Accubid preferred
High School Diploma or the equivalent
AA/BS in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering (or soon to graduate) (*)
Minimum of one year in the electrical construction trade, with a strong knowledge of construction

Responsibilities
Act as the client's on-site representative during construction.
Monitor daily construction activities for quality assurance and compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards, including gathering detailed measurements.
Coordinate with design engineers, construction contractors, inspectors, and program management staff.
Conduct regular site inspections and lead field meetings with stakeholders.
Review and approve contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress payments.
Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, logs, as-builts, photographs, Correspondence and Documentation of Contractor Performance
Identify and mitigate construction-related risks or delays; escalate critical issues when necessary.

Qualifications
NJ Professional Engineer License Required.

Ability to supervise staff.
Experience working on highway, bridge and/or rail projects.
The Resident Engineer should possess a working knowledge of the following: shop drawing review, scheduling, permitting and inspection requirements.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to overall team success.
Experience with large-scale or multi-site program management environments preferred.

District Overview
Within Kiewit, we have many districts that support different portions of our busines and operate in certain regions of the United States. For this role, reporting into the Central District, we operates in the central and south-central regions of the United States. We build heavy civil and transportation projects, including highways, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams and tunnels, as well as support site development for industrial projects like data centers, water treatment facilities and power. We are looking for Survey Cad Technicians to support projects around Central US, which could include: CO, MT, WY, ND, SD, IA, MN, NM, NE, KS, MO, MS, TN and KY. District Overview
Within Kiewit, we have many districts that support different portions of our busines and operate in certain regions of the United States. For this role, reporting into the Central District, we operates in the central and south-central regions of the United States. We build heavy civil and transportation projects, including highways, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams and tunnels, as well as support site development for industrial projects like data centers, water treatment facilities and power. With one of the largest equipment fleets in the region, we can mobilize to any location as a full-service construction team capable of self-performing mass grading, drainage, bridge construction, aggregate production, paving, rail and utility construction.
Location
We are looking for Survey Cad Technicians to support projects around Central US, which could include: CO, MT, WY, ND, SD, IA, MN, NM, NE, KS, MO, MS, TN and KY. Must be willing to travel to project sites as needed and visit our district office in Lone Tree Colorado occasionally for training and meetings. When assigned to a project site, we provide per diem and trips home.

Qualifications
3 years' experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field is required, performing related CAD tech functions as outlined above
Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to perform calculations (area, volume, circumference, proportion, percentage)
Dynamic thinker with the desire to lead, motivate and mentor teams
Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality and productivity
Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as a team; Committed to working safe and getting the job done right the first time
Must be willing to work 50-60 hours per week, along with weekends. (We do pay overtime)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally; Accustomed to Outdoor fieldwork in varied terrain and weather conditions
