Position Overview
FieldCoordinator is an entry level field supervisory position. The fieldcoordinator assists the superintendent or assistant superintendent overseeing portions of the project construction activities. Activities might vary from managing subcontractors to verifying quality control processes to managing production crews.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Manage various scopes of subcontractor work.
* Provide direct in field supervision of production crews.
* Schedule crews
* Documentation of work performed.
* Schedule material deliveries and manage material, equipment and personnel.
* Submit field reports, track time on task, track onsite material inventory and deliveries with Superintendent.
* Accurately records and tracks time and quantities completed daily.
Education and Training
* Four-year degree in construction, engineering or related field or equivalent construction experience
* Proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Experience reading blueprints/plans
* Excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability
* Experience with large excavation equipment including dozers, track hoes, tractors, scrapers etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Self-motivated with the ability to working productively without constant supervision
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple operations

We are looking for a Senior FieldCoordinator to join our Operations team on our project in Manassas, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position. The Senior FieldCoordinator plays a key leadership role in supervising on-site trade work, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance, and driving overall project success.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide field supervision of on-site trade work with a strong focus on safety, quality, and adherence to project schedule requirements.
* Coordinate material delivery and installation activities to maintain workflow efficiency and minimize delays.
* Facilitate communication and coordination between trades to resolve conflicts and maintain progress.
* Monitor workforce production and provide guidance to ensure compliance with Holder standards.
* Collaborate closely with project management teams to address issues and support overall project objectives.
* Promote Holder's zero-accident safety culture and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
* Mentor junior field staff and contribute to team development and training initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience in commercial construction field supervision.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Willingness to relocate and work on-site as needed.
Preferred:
* Experience supervising large-scale commercial construction projects.
* Familiarity with scheduling tools, QA/QC processes, and safety programs.

Position Summary
The FieldCoordinator supports construction projects through hands-on field work and assistance with planning and documentation. This entry-level role is designed for individuals eager to learn the trades, develop supervision skills, and build a foundation for a career in heavy civil construction. Work is approximately 90% field and 10% office. ACE is now accepting applications for full-time, entry-level FieldCoordinator positions. Key Responsibilities
Perform basic trade work in earthwork, concrete, piping, and equipment.
Support surveying, layout, work packs, and quality checks.
Assist the Superintendent in subcontractor coordination and safety enforcement.
Track ACE equipment and ensure operators perform maintenance.
Collaborate with the Project Engineer on material management.
Assist with BIM, as-builts, and 3-week look-ahead schedules.
Review labor reports, cost codes, and project documentation.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
Perform as a liaise for tool needs across jobsites. Provide both physical and technical support to our field personnel and execute tool requests for work sites.

Dispense information on continual questions regarding tools and tool requests.
Input and track tools and other assets using computer software.
Maintain records of tool assignments and any required documentation.
Generate delivery requests and prepare tools for delivery to site.
Conduct maintenance of existing tools and equipment.
Assemble, breakdown, and inspect tool assets for needed service intervals or repairs.
Create tool and safety equipment orders for stocked items to minimize shortages of crucial, frequently used items.
Analyze receiving paperwork of delivered goods from vendors, verify accuracy of shipped quantities, and communicate any discrepancies.
Administer tool audits at jobsites. Travel is provided to jobsites.
