Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. # Job Summary:
This position is for a Deputy Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) Engineering Group Supervisor, who will assist in leading the CSA team to prepare designs associated with DOD and USAF projects. This role is responsible for the design delivery and supporting team management for the Bechtel work products and designs, as well as for coordinating the scope and integration of work with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, can-do attitude, and the desire to innovate designs.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Makes decisions independently concerning problems within the discipline on the project
+ Represents the discipline on the project and with the client to resolve technical questions and as required to coordinate work
+ Supports design development engineering for the project by preparing studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, and evaluations, in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements
+ Responsible for supervising engineers and helping to execute assignments concerned with specialized unique engineering requirements in a global business unit
+ Provides technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating these assignments
+ Involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope, and may involve development of novel concepts, approaches, and solutions
+ Development of subcontractor scopes of work for execution of construction work implementing design documents
+ Review vendor information from subcontractors
+ Execute to schedule requirement while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product
+ Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team, such as geotechnical engineering and GIS Manage discipline work process execution and assure technical adequacy in accordance with company procedures, contract, and industry codes and standards
+ Demonstrate ownership of assigned actions to self and group and shows initiative in problem solving

# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ BS degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related), from an accredited university, with at least 10-13 years of relevant experience
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Basic Qualifications:
+ US citizenship is required per contract requirement.
+ Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
+ Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
+ Registered Professional Engineer in USA (Civil or Structural Engineering).
+ Minimum Qualifications:
+ Experience planning and executing work in an Earned Value Management System environment

The Smart 3D Administrator applies engineering software management/support expertise to a broad range of engineering computer-aided design/computer-aided engineering software that supports engineering work processes. \#LI-HB1
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Configure and maintain S3D software settings, user roles, and permissions, admin parameters, configuration files, and content libraries.
+ Create new projects, and "copy code" standard designs for replication in the field.

# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering, IT, or related field and 5-8 years of relevant experience and/or 9-12 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
+ Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgement with limited oversight to execute work supporting a model-based digital engineering delivery program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects and pursuits in the Sediments market and lead of dedicated team of professionals towards profitable growth within the remediation market and executing existing projects.
This individual will serve as the sediment practice lead for the Remediation group to provide leadership around sediment remediation projects and design expertise to guide a variety of projects through site investigation, remedy evaluation and selection, design, construction, and restoration. This role will also lead national business development campaigns to grow Burns & McDonnell's sediment portfolio and lead critical pursuit efforts.
+ Prepare and implement strategic plans to capture existing project leads, convert design projects to construction opportunities, and expand sales in the Sediment Remediation market.
+ Lead teams to develop and implement pre-design investigations, feasibility studies, treatability studies, conceptual site model development, remedial design and remedial action implementation.
+ Manage/direct staff in data collection, synthesis, analysis and interpretation using industry standard procedures.
+ Manage large/complex sediment investigation and remediation projects. When operating in this role, be responsible for the financial success of the project including preparation of cost proposals and qualification statements and achieving stated targets and standards for financial performance.
+ Provide leadership, instruction, and advanced technical guidance to less experienced project staff. Support client communications surrounding sediment remediation on key accounts.

Qualifications

+ Proven track record of practice/business unit leadership with demonstrated sales and portfolio growth within the remediation market.
+ Expert knowledge of sediment fate and transport.
+ Expert knowledge of and experience with active sediment remediation including dredging, capping, and other industry standard methods.
+ Strong working knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including CERCLA, RCRA, Section 401 and Section 404 permitting.

# Job Summary:
This position, located in Ogden, UT, is for a SmartPlant 3D Designer who will prepare electrical 3D designs as well as 2D electrical AutoCAD and SmartSketch designs to support new facility infrastructure design for DOD and USAF projects. # Job Summary:
In this role, you will prepare design and procurement documents relating to Fire Protection and provide technical leadership in the design and development of fire protection systems and equipment for the Sentinel project. You will develop calculations, construction drawings, Fire Protection Design Analysis Reports (FPDAR), tailored Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), requisition specifications, review and approve sub-contractors' submittals, and assist in determining needed changes and with final testing. Your work will lead the implementation of programs and procedures that promote fire safety. # Major Responsibilities:
+ Executes assignments in Fire Protection Engineering for the Sentinel (GBSD) project.
+ Has technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating Fire Protection issues with internal and external stakeholders.
