# Project Overview:
Bechtel is designing, constructing, and commissioning the world's largest radioactive waste treatment plant for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Hanford Site in southeastern Washington State. The Hanford Tank Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant will use vitrification technology to process and solidify 56 million gallons (210 million liters) of radioactive and chemical waste stored at the Hanford site, which is a byproduct of plutonium production during World War II and the Cold War era.
The project is the largest undertaking of its kind and one of DOE's most technically challenging cleanup projects. Its construction spans 65 acres (26 hectares) with four major nuclear facilities Pretreatment, Low-Activity Waste Vitrification, High-Level Waste Vitrification and Analytical Laboratory as well as operations and maintenance buildings, utilities, other support facilities.
The Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) is a limited liability corporation created by Bechtel National Inc. (BNI) and Amentum. WTCC is a subcontractor to BNI, the prime contractor, to deliver the construction, turnover, startup, and commissioning activities for the WTP project.
This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm (day shift) or 5:30 pm to 4:00 am (night shift). Extended work weeks and/or extended hours may be required or authorized to support the construction schedule.
# Job Summary:
Assigned to the High-Level Waste (HLW) Construction organization in a Construction Automation position. Collaborate with the Functional Automation Team to ensure processes and procedures are followed; also ensure new innovation and/or new application plans are implemented at site per the approved roll-out schedule. \#LI-CL1
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Implementing the construction automation tools in accordance with the project automation plan. Establish the data requirements to support construction work processes. SQL and Oracle Database administration.
+ Software Quality Assurance (SQA) documentation.
+ Coordinating with functional project automation support to ensure construction applications comply with BSAP standards.
+ Customizing applications (e.g., Power BI, SSRS, BookBuilder, ModelBuilder, Syncro4D, etc.) to support construction reporting requirements.
+ Preparing test plans, migration plans, job aids, and new release forms for new versions of construction automation tools before they are released for use.
+ Coordinating with IT for user account setup to support their construction role and automation tools necessary.
+ Providing application training to support construction personnel.
+ Serving as the construction automation superuser during construction, commissioning, and turnover phases of the project.
+ Designing / developing workflows, forms, and templates for automation tools.
+ Providing user support including responding to queries and issues.
+ Monitoring contractor / supplier user compliance.
+ Managing output data and preparing construction report types with direction from the Construction Automation Lead or Construction Automation Planner.
+ Inputting and maintaining automation related information in project plans and procedures. Collating and reviewing user feedback for use in improvements.
+ Developing relationships across integrated team/contractors/third parties.
+ Producing status reports.
+ Producing construction automation dashboards specific to disciplines and various levels of management.
+ Facilitating the flow of information through the construction turnover process, and into the Commissioning and Startup tools.
+ Leading the implementation of new innovative automation platforms that support the real-time management of program wide logistics required in support of construction and startup.
+ The general responsibilities of this position may involve development of novel concepts, approaches, and solutions.
+ The ideal candidate will have solid experience in providing applications to support construction activities and supported by engineering design modeling activities related to construction installation work package planning supporting Advanced Work Packaging (AWP).
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction related discipline from an accredited university with 5-8 years of experience, in lieu of a degree 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
+ Must be authorized to work and remain in the United States without Bechtel visa sponsorship now or in the future.
+ Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
+ Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge.)

The Construction Project Manager supports the Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) Project Manager or Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods. Qualifications
+ Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. 7 years relevant project management experience in the construction industry.

+ Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
+ Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.

Project Overview:
Bechtel is designing, constructing, and commissioning the world's largest radioactive waste treatment plant for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Hanford Site in southeastern Washington State. The Hanford Tank Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant will use vitrification technology to process and solidify 56 million gallons (210 million liters) of radioactive and chemical waste stored at the Hanford site, which is a byproduct of plutonium production during World War II and the Cold War era.
The project is the largest undertaking of its kind and one of DOE's most technically challenging cleanup projects. Its construction spans 65 acres (26 hectares) with four major nuclear facilities - Pretreatment, Low-Activity Waste Vitrification, High-Level Waste Vitrification and Analytical Laboratory - as well as operations and maintenance buildings, utilities, other support facilities.
The Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) is a limited liability corporation created by Bechtel National Inc. (BNI) and Amentum. WTCC is a subcontractor to BNI, the prime contractor, to deliver the construction, turnover, startup, and commissioning activities for the WTP project.
This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm (day shift) or 5:30 pm to 4:00 am (night shift), subject to change. The project may require employees to work weekends, overtime, holidays, and/or night shift as business needs arise.
Job Summary:
The HLW Civil Field Engineer is responsible for tasks and activities relating to construction engineering within the Civil discipline (i.e., concrete, structural steel, excavation/backfill, scaffolding, architectural finishes) utilizing nuclear codes and standards. Project Overview:
Bechtel is designing, constructing, and commissioning the world's largest radioactive waste treatment plant for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Hanford Site in southeastern Washington State.
The Hanford Tank Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant will use vitrification technology to process and solidify 56 million gallons (210 million liters) of radioactive and chemical waste stored at the Hanford site, which is a byproduct of plutonium production during World War II and the Cold War era.
The project is the largest undertaking of its kind and one of DOE's most technically challenging cleanup projects. Its construction spans 65 acres (26 hectares) with four major nuclear facilities - Pretreatment, Low-Activity Waste Vitrification, High-Level Waste Vitrification and Analytical Laboratory - as well as operations and maintenance buildings, utilities, other support facilities.
The Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) is a limited liability corporation created by Bechtel National Inc. (BNI) and Amentum. WTCC is a subcontractor to BNI, the prime contractor, to deliver the construction, turnover, startup, and commissioning activities for the WTP project.

Job Summary:
Originate and check structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, material requisitions. Project Overview:
Bechtel is designing, constructing, and commissioning the world's largest radioactive waste treatment plant for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Hanford Site in southeastern Washington State. The Hanford Tank Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant will use vitrification technology to process and solidify 56 million gallons (210 million liters) of radioactive and chemical waste stored at the Hanford site, which is a byproduct of plutonium production during World War II and the Cold War era.
The project is the largest undertaking of its kind and one of DOE's most technically challenging cleanup projects. Its construction spans 65 acres (26 hectares) with four major nuclear facilities - Pretreatment, Low-Activity Waste Vitrification, High-Level Waste Vitrification and Analytical Laboratory - as well as operations and maintenance buildings, utilities, other support facilities.
The Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) is a limited liability corporation created by Bechtel National Inc. (BNI) and Amentum. WTCC is a subcontractor to BNI, the prime contractor, to deliver the construction, turnover, startup, and commissioning activities for the WTP project.
This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm (day shift) or 5:30 pm to 4:00 am (night shift), subject to change. The project may require employees to work weekends, overtime, holidays, and/or night shift as business needs arise.
Job Summary:
The HLW Civil Field Engineer is responsible for tasks and activities relating to construction engineering within the Civil discipline (i.e., concrete, structural steel, excavation/backfill, scaffolding, architectural finishes) utilizing nuclear codes and standards. Responsibilities include the development of work plans, coordinating materials, performing, and documenting inspections, reporting progress, and resolving conflicts in design and construction related to the installation and testing of commodities through turnover to Startup/Commissioning. This position will be responsible for a variety of construction tasks utilizing nuclear and industrial codes and standards related to concrete, steel, earthwork, architectural installations. Duties include interpreting design and vender drawings and specifications. Major Responsibilities:
* Provides field engineering support and assistance to superintendents, supporting personnel in meeting cost and time schedules, verifies materials, equipment, and quality, and assures results meet design requirements.
* Develop work plans, coordinate material take-offs and requisitions, perform and document inspections, report progress, and resolve conflicts in design and construction related to the installation and testing of civil commodities.
* Performs Civil Field Engineering activities including inspections, audits and planning to support the installation of formwork, rebar, concrete, structural steel, architectural, earthwork and performs rigging support and planning activities for material and equipment.
