As our Lead Systems Solution Architecture, you'll support HID's success by:
Leading complex IT projects and changing implementations with minimal supervision.
Driving process improvement initiatives aligned with ITIL best practices.
Documenting and communicating project decisions via design documents, plans, and process flows.
Designing and implementing enterprise-level network architectures and hybrid infrastructure.
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
Automating deployments and configurations using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews and pairing.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on network automation and security initiatives.
Developing and enforcing information security policies and procedures.
Conducting security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensuring compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and CFIUS.

Your Experience and Background include:
Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Networking, Software Engineering or related field.
6-8 years of relevant experience (or Master's with 5-6 years).
Preferred certifications: AWS, Networking, On-Premises Virtualization (VMWare, Proxmox, Hyper-V), Windows/Linux.
In-depth understanding of IT operations, cloud technologies, and ITIL practices.
Expertise in enterprise-level network design, advanced troubleshooting, and automation.
Expertise in AWS Cloud (automation/deployments via Terraform/CloudFormation), On-Prem Virtualization (VMWare/Proxmox/Hyper-V), Windows and Linux OS expertise, etc.

Our Architects lead the projects, develop project scope, coordinate internal Disney partners, and manage external design firms and contractors to deliver projects that meet Disney standards, regulatory requirements, and operational needs. You are expected to possess deep technical expertise, strong knowledge of applicable codes, and the ability to actively participate and lead in all phases of design and construction. What You Will Do
Owners Architect: Provide architectural leadership and design management at the project level for a portfolio of projects from concept through construction and closeout.
Lead and coordinate the architectural design of multiple concurrent projects (25+ at a time), partnering closely with Disney Project Managers and internal stakeholders. Projects will vary in scale.
Manage and direct external Architects, Engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, budget, and Disney standards.
Develop detailed project scopes of work and prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for external design and consulting services.
Serve as a technical architectural specialist with strong knowledge of architectural detailing, coordination of sections and elevations, requirements for UL listing, design options for fire protection, waterproofing and material transitions.
Demonstrate familiarity with all phases of design and construction, from feasibility and schematic design through construction administration and closeout.
Participate in and support construction activities, including on-site presence to analyze and facilitate issue resolution.
Provide leadership during Construction Administration, including: 1) Coordination with Architects of Record (AOR), Engineers of Record (EOR), and General Contractors; 2) Guidance on permitting strategies, inspections, and field issue resolution; and 3) Review, processing and resolution of RFIs.
Act as a liaison with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and regulatory agencies, representing Disney's interests throughout design and construction.
Develop and present construction phasing plans for review and approval by AHJs, internal Disney partners, and construction teams.
Ensure projects are coordinated across disciplines and integrated with operational, safety, and guest experience requirements.

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Application Architect is responsible for ensuring that applications are tailored to the needs of the team, perform efficiently, and integrate seamlessly with other applications. PAY RANGE: $160k to $170k annually depending upon experience.
This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
In addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 6 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service).
